 ______ <P><div class="text-justify">How about some architectural photography? I've been taking these photos as a practice, it's been a while since I've left buildings and architecture aside to embrace other styles or genres but it's quite interesting to take it up again. I was in the neighbourhood of San Nicolás in the city of Buenos Aires, specifically in what is known as Diagonal Norte on Roque Sáenz Peña Avenue. I really like the first photo because of the relief, the construction details, the columns, windows and domes. It is the Miguel Bencich building and the old Aeropostal building, that is how they are known or at least I know it because of its history.</div></P> ><P><div class="text-justify">¿Que tal un poco de fotografía de arquitectura? He tomado estas fotos de forma de práctica, hace algún tiempo que he dejado a un lado los edificios y la arquitectura para abarcar otros estilos o géneros pero es bastante interesante retomarlo. Estaba en el barrio de San Nicolás en la ciudad de Buenos Aires, puntualmente en lo que se conoce como la Diagonal Norte en la avenida Roque Sáenz Peña. La primera foto me gusta mucho por el relieve, los detalles de construcción, las columnas, ventanas y cúpulas. Se trata del edificio Miguel Bencich y el antiguo edificio de Aeropostal, es así como se conocen o al menos lo conozco yo por la historia que conlleva.</div></P>   <P><div class="text-justify">On the other hand there are other buildings in these photos that I don't usually know but as this is not a post exclusively dedicated to architecture but to architectural photography we have another view. Capturing these iconic structures with the 70-300mm lens gives you the opportunity to see in detail the designs and even the state of preservation of these majestic buildings.</div></P> <P><div class="text-justify">We can see really well preserved facades and domes with rust, buildings seen from the side showing their balconies, windows, terraces and part of the urbanism, accompanying trees and signs indicating that this area belongs to the microcentro.</div></P> ><P><div class="text-justify">Por otra parte hay otros edificios en estas fotos que no suelo conocer pero como este no es un post exclusivamente dedicado a la arquitectura sino a la fotografía de arquitectura tenemos otra visión. Capturando éstas icónicas estructuras con el lente 70-300mm te da la oportunidad de veras a detalle los diseños e incluso el estado de conservación de estos majestuosos edificios.</div></P> ><P><div class="text-justify">Podemos ver fachadas realmente bien conservadas y cúpulas con óxido, edificios vistos desde algún lado lateral mostrando sus balcones, ventanas, terrazas y parte del urbanismo, árboles que acompañan y carteles de indican que esta zona pertenece al microcentro.</div></P>   <P><div class="text-justify">To finish we have a close up of the great dome of the municipal palace, one of its towers showing a great clock and a couple of photos that are more related to street photography but that show part of the architecture of the neighbourhood. People walking next to the cabildo of Buenos Aires and the last photo showing even the underground station of the D line "Catedral".</div></P> ><P><div class="text-justify">Para finalizar tenemos muy de cerca la gran cúpula del palacio municipal, una de sus torres que muestran un gran reloj y un par de fotos que están más relacionadas a la fotografía de calle pero que muestra parte de la arquitectura del barrio. Personas caminando al lado del cabildo de Buenos Aires y la última foto que muestra hasta la estación del subterráneo de la línea D "Catedral".</div></P>  <P><div class="text-justify">I hope you liked these photos, guys! Para ser sincero nunca he sido fan de las estructuras muy cargadas, ornamentos y esas cosas pero tengo que admitir que la arquitectura vieja que tnemos en la ciudad es preciosa, tiene ese encanto antiguo bien equilibrado con los nuevos edificios que les da una personalidad unica más aun cuando son bien cuidadas.
