It's mellow and different.
It's the same - in a way - 'cause it talks about money.
It's different, cause it's mellow and slow.
We like it that way.

I'm still searching for the groove. The whole thing has to be flowy, but interesting - laid-back, but nervous. So I have to come up with a good melodic structure that I can play over a simple groovy pulse.
Most of all, it has to follow the lyrics and the story.

Overall, I believe it's gonna be groovy.

After this rehearsal, we had another jam where I think I finally got the rhythm right, and today we're finally having a rehearsal as a trio (with our bass player). So we'll see what happens.

Last week I feel like The Cosmos is putting me on a serial trial / or just fucking with me.
It's been hard, dramatic, and stressful, but at the same time eye-opening and humbling. 
Some really serious personal life decisions were made, and all of that happened while I'm stumbling to finish a lot of work.
But I guess these things happen like that. When you least expect it, The Cosmos throws something at you, to see how would you hold up against it.

One thing I know, in times of great stress and depression, it's best just to focus on work, and try to play as much as you can, and take any joy that comes with it.

So, I'm off to play...
