In the past few days there is an increasing number of fellow steemians posting comments in posts just to posts something (usually just a "Thanks" or "Great") or begging "Follow me", "Upvote me", "I upvote your post, now do the same on my own post!" or whatever.

Write content that it's worth having an upvote and sooner or later you will get what you deserve. Steemit needs hard work, persistance and time. It's not a "get rich quick" thingy, and it will never be.

Stop begging, stop spam-commenting. The time you spend to write 20-30 "Upvote my posts pl0x" comments, you could write a high quality post about something you know. If you are not getting the rewards you expect, just keep trying. 

You can however write in your posts "Feel free to follow and upvote my post if you liked it", but DON'T make a whole f***ing post about asking others to upvote your post.
