## Hello Friends

A few days ago I was at another beach a bit more east. Actually, I'm still looking for a varied, dog-free round to go for a walk. But most of the paths into the jungle end in nothing and along the main thing, while varied, is not so nice. There is a wide paved shoulder next to the road here, but it is used by motorcycles. As a pedestrian, you have to walk in the dirt next to the paved road.
 The beach itself gives a typical picture from a sales project. You can't swim there because the waves and current are much too violent, but the whitecaps look good in the brochure. In addition, the beach was built up with condominiums, so that it is very difficult to get to the beach at all.
 And when you are there, you see one or two bored condo owners and otherwise only sand and water.
 Nothing worthy of an entry in @pinmapple.

It's not that easy for me, @poliac. Actually even harder than I assumed before I wanted to make it home here in Sosua.
 The Fitbit app doesn't count swimming activities correctly and how to record other activities like ab workouts and yoga I haven't figured out yet. 
 And there's my new friend...if you .... but you really should not see every activity only under sporting aspects. There I rather lose with a satisfied smile.
If I manage to stay in the class, that's already a win for me this time.

Vor ein paar Tagen war ich an einem weiteren Strand etwas östlicher. Eigentlich suche ich noch immer eine abwechslungsreiche, hundefreie Runde zum Spazieren gehen. Aber die meisten Wege hinein in den Dschungel enden im Nichts und entlang der Hauptsache ist zwar abwechslungsreich, aber nicht so schön. Es gibt hier zwar ein breites, befestigtes Bankett neben der Straße, aber das wird von den Motorrädern benutzt. Als Fußgänger muss man im Dreck neben der asphaltierten Straße laufen.
 Der Strand selbst gibt  ein typisches Bild aus einem Verkaufsprojekt ab. Baden kann man da zwar nicht, weil Wellen und Strömung viel zu heftig sind, aber die Schaumkronen machen sich gut im Prospekt. Dazu wurde der Strand mit Eigentumswohnungen zugebaut, so dass es sehr schwierig ist, überhaupt bis zum Strand vorzudringen.
 Und wenn man dann dort ist, sieht man ein oder zwei gelangweilte Wohnungsbesitzer  und sonst nur Sand und Wasser.
 Nichts , was einen Eintrag in @pinmapple wert ist.

Es ist nicht so einfach für mich, @poliac. Eigentlich noch schwieriger als ich annahm, bevor ich hier in Sosua heimisch werden wollte.
 Die Fitbit-App zählt die Schwimmaktivitäten nicht richtig  und wie man andere Aktivitäten wie Bauchtraining und Yoga  aufzeichnet, habe ich noch nicht herausgefunden. 
 Und da ist noch meine neue Freundin...wenn man ... aber man sollte wirklich nicht jede Aktivität nur unter sportlichen Aspekten sehen. Da verliere ich lieber mit einem zufriedenen Lächeln.
Wenn ich den Klassenerhalt schaffen sollte, ist das diesmal schon ein Gewinn für mich.
