Design and Create a Beautiful and Stylish Leather Wallet //Diseña y Crea una Hermosa y Elegante Cartera de Cuero

Hello Hive community. I am very happy and grateful for the reception of the beautiful community that forms NeedleWorkMonday. Being able to make your own garments has a taste that only people who sew, knit and are artisans can certainly savor. This good taste has resulted in me being able to finish my first handmade leather wallet. I have a sewing machine, but I still don't have the presser foot required to make projects with leather material.

However, I was encouraged to design and create this beautiful leather wallet and I hope you like it!

- Semi leather fabric
- Owl design in sequins and threads.
- Scissors
- Metric Tape
- Pins
- Pencil, thread and needle

**PROCEDURE**


**First Step**

I opted to design a 32 inch x 32 inch square and on the corners create a curved design as you can see.

I made two pieces exactly the same 

**Second Step**.

Then I marked a third piece by making a design on the top.

I then drew on the leather a square with curved points at the bottom corners.

On the same piece and at the top I drew two vertical straight lines to form the required design. 7 inches apart horizontally and 5 inches on the vertical axis. 

**Third Step**

Then on top of the design, at each vertex only a round style was given to those straight lines. As you can see in the image.

This is how our third piece would look like. 

**Fourth Step**

We trace and cut out two straight leather strips of 4 inches X 33 inches. 

**Fifth step**

This step consists of joining all the pieces together, starting with the central piece, which is the one with the curved design in the upper area. On top of this, both ribbons are sewn on each side of the piece.

Then I sewed the owl design on the other piece and sewed it to the center piece.

In this way I sewed with needle and thread around the piece until the front design was completely attached to the base or central piece of what would become the wallet. 

**Sixth step**

Then the back of the bag would be formed by the other twin piece. I sewed a pocket to this one and then sewed it on the other side of the center piece as well.

This would be the result of joining the pieces together. 

**Seventh Step**

Then I sealed the stitching details a little bit, because I really didn't like them very much. The needle I used is not the right one for sewing leather and the thread used was also common thread that we use for sewing fabrics.

Next, the accessories should be placed to make the purse fastener and attach them to the purse.

Hola comunidad de Hive . Estoy muy feliz y agradecida por el recibimiento de la bonita comunidad que forma NeedleWorkMonday. Poder realizar tus propias prendas tienen un gusto que solo las personas que cosen, tejen y son artesanos pueden sin duda saborear. Este buen sabor me ha resultado al poder terminar mi primera cartera de cuero elaborada a mano. Tengo maquina de coser, pero aun no tengo el prensatela requerido para realizar proyectos con  material de cuero.

Sin embargo, me animé a diseñar y crear esta bonita cartera de cuero.Espero les guste!

**PROCEDIMIENTO:**


**Primer Paso**

Opté por diseñar un cuadrado de 32 pulgadas x 32 pulgadas y en las esquinas crear un diseño con curva.Como pueden apreciar.

Hice dos piezas exactamente iguales 

**Segundo Paso**

Luego marqué una tercera pieza realizando un diseño en la parte superior.

Luego dibujé sobre el cuero un cuadrado con puntas curvas en las esquinas inferiores.

Sobre la misma pieza y  en la parte superior se trazó dos líneas rectas verticales para formar  el diseño requerido. 7 pulgadas de distancia horizontal y 5 pulgadas en el eje vertical. 

**Tercer  Paso**

Luego sobre el diseño, en cada vértice solo se le dió un estilo redondo a esas líneas rectas. Como se puede apreciar en la imagen.

De esta manera quedaría nuestra tercera pieza. 

**Cuarto Paso:**

Se trazan y se recortan dos cintas rectas de cuero de 4 pulgadas X 33 pulgadas 

**Quinto paso**

Este paso consiste en unir todas las piezas, iniciando por la pieza central. que es la que posee el diseño de las curvas en el área superior . Sobre este se cosen ambas cintas en cada lado de la pieza.

Luego sobre la otra pieza fijé con costura el diseño del buho, para luego coserla a la pieza central.

De esta manera se fue cosiendo con aguja e hilo los alrededores de la pieza. hasta fijar totalmente el diseño frontal a la pieza base o central de lo que sería la cartera. 

**Sexto  paso**

Luego la parte trasera del bolso estaría formada por la otra pieza gemela. A esta le cosí un bolsillo y luego se cose también del otro lado de la pieza central.

Este sería el resultado de la unión de las piezas. 

Septimo Paso:

Luego sellé un poco los detalles de costura, porque realmente no me gustaron mucho. La aguja que utilicé no es la indicada para coser el cuero y el hilo utilizado también era hilo común que usamos  para coser telas.

Posteriormente se debe  colocar los accesorios para hacer el sujetador de la cartera y unirlos a esta.
