Hi there. This is a quick Pokemon Trading card game post. The evolution line of Abra, Kadabra and Alakazam from Japan's Mask of Change upcoming expansion is featured.

## Abra

The Basic Pokemon Abra is needed to work your way up to Alakazam or even Alakazam ex from Pokemon 151 expansion. I think it can also be used as some sort of technical card because of its ability. Its ability of Teleporter allows Abra to shuffle it and attached cards into your deck. This is provided that Abra is in the Active spot. Teleporting from the active spot does provide a bit of pivot option.

Its attack and HP is not very good but its ability is interesting.


 

## Kadabra

Note that the translation has an error. Kadabra should be 80HP as shown on the card.

For a stage 1 single prize Pokemon 80 HP is on the low side. (Watch out for Radiant Greninja!)

It does have a retreat cost of one which is nice and its attack is okay. Its Psychic attack does 10 plus 30 times the number of Energy attached to the opponent's Pokemon. One energy on the opponent's active Pokemon would be 40 damage, two would be 70 damage, three would be 100 damage and so on. I don't think it is common for the opponent to have 3 or more energy on their active Pokemon. I think you would rather protect Kadabra and work your way up to Alakazam instead of attacking with it.


 

## Alakazam

This Alakazam card is interesting. It is because of its first attack of Strange Hack. The opponent's Active Pokemon is confused and you can move any amount of damage counters on your opponent's Pokemon to their other Pokemon in any way you like. It sounds like the translation means that the damage counters can be moved from any of the opponent's Pokemon and not just from the active. 

Alakazam's second attack of Psychic is stronger than Kadabra's. This Psychic attack does 10 plus 50 times the number of energies on the opponent's active Pokemon. You can do 10, 60, 110, 160 damage and so on. 

Both attacks here from Alakazam are low cost at one Psychic energy which is a plus. I am not sure if this will see much play. It can be worth a try.
