Anime that consist only of brief vignettes are not uncommon, though it's not something I ever really go into myself. I decided to give this one a chance because the idea that there are no voices at all was a bit intriguing. The story has to be told entirely through the actions and expressions of the characters. So the show will live or die by two simple things, can you follow what's going on without dialogue and can it elicit emotion from you.



The premise is that you are following around three high school girls as they get up to random high school girl things. So far this has included goofing around with origami they make from napkins at a diner, playing around with a skateboard they happen across, and this really weird first episode where two of the girls are playing around with the first characters thighs as she is trying to fall asleep on the school desks after class. The humor in that last one can be a bit crude, but nothing really explicit, the show itself is overall pretty tame.

The first thing to note is all the stories being told are very simple and very easy to follow. You can infer a lot about these characters from what very little time you get with them. You have the lead character, who is pretty easy going and spacey, the tiny girl who is easily the most modest and easily embarrassed of them all, and the third girl who seems to be the most 'together' mentally, but is also a bit of a tease (not in that way) but also seems to be a bit jealous when the small girl gets more attention than her.



Furthermore, the show is actually rather charming, especially the fifth episode when they are messing around and taking pictures with this random skateboard they come across. They genuinely seem like great friends, and I'm kind of looking forward to seeing what other weird shenanigans they get up to in the future.

This is where it gets hard to keep talking about this show because at three minutes an episode if I give any more info then I already have I'd basically be walking you through the point of the episode by point. And there really is no dialogue to dissect or overarching plot to discuss. It's just a few friends goofing around. It's nothing groundbreaking or anything that's going to leave a lasting impression, but for some cute and fun scenes for very little time investment, it's worth a watch. I know I'm kind of breaking my 'Six episode minimum' rule with this show, but considering the nature of it I figured I'd make an exception. I highly doubt more episodes would give me more to talk about here.
