Previous surveys have found that a great deal of people today are interested in cryptocurrencies, however many of them feel that it's too complicated for them to understand or become involved in. 

## [Various surveys have reported](https://bravenewcoin.com/insights/kaspersky-reports-that-only-1-in-10-people-'get'-crypto) that people feel Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are just *too complex*. 

<center></center>Over the years, a growing number of resources have come out that have sought to simplify the topic to try and inspire more people to become involved. 

You can now find *Bitcoin For Dummies* and *Blockchain For Dummies* and so on. There are thousands of different Youtube channels and websites, where people are trying to teach about all things blockchain to the billions who still haven't started using this technology and digital money. 

To add to those resources, one 13 year old came up with his own book about cryptocurrency titled <b>[Early Bird Gets The Bitcoin](https://www.insideedition.com/dont-know-what-bitcoin-13-year-olds-book-can-teach-you-54361)</b>.

The author, A. Courey, became enthralled with cryptocurrency a few years earlier and admits that he struggled to find resources that could simplify everything for him.  That's when he got the idea to craft his own guide with the hopes of providing information about cryptocurrency that would simplify the terms for young adults, he eventually released that final book last year. 

## Courey self-published his book on Amazon and [has already sold more than 1,500 copies](https://www.insideedition.com/dont-know-what-bitcoin-13-year-olds-book-can-teach-you-54361).

Most of the explanations of cryptocurrency are too complicated for parents to even understand, let alone their children, and so any way that people can simplify that information is going to help increase the potential that people will embrace and adopt this technology.

Many children today are familiar with in-game currencies and it's been previously suggested that it isn't much of a stretch *or a difference,* for [them to shift to using cryptocurrencies](https://hackernoon.com/are-kids-the-key-to-mass-adoption-of-cryptocurrency-56cb7a226930). Because there are so many people who still have yet to engage with cryptocurrencies there still is great potential, and more people have been working on that infrastructure to help support those kids using cryptocurrency with kid-friendly crypto wallets etc. Teaching children about cryptocurrency, parents have noted, is just another opportunity to teach their children about money.
