<center>https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2020/06/07/13/33/fireworks-5270439_960_720.jpg</center> Celebrations are going on for New Years and it has authorities in Texas warning people that they do not want them to celebrate with guns. In a variety of communities people have seen guns used in the past for New Years Eve celebrations in places like Texas and authorities in some areas have warned that it could mean thousands in fines and jail time too for those who get caught. Some HOA communities in Texas have already hired extra police for the evening to try and catch anyone who might be engaging in this behavior. ## City leaders around Texas have urged people not to turn to guns to try and celebrate the New Year or illegal fireworks. <center></center>Authorities in Texas say that they also don't want people to be calling into emergency service lines either to report fireworks on New Year's Eve it looks like. One state lawmaker from TX had previously been hit in the head by a stray bullet as a result of celebratory gunfire and since tried to warn the public against engaging in this behavior, fearing that others might also be victimized.
