Veterans might soon be able to be recommended cannabis in legal states by VA doctors thanks to a recent approval by the Senate on rules surrounding the matter. 

The VA has previously also signaled an effort to further study the impacts of cannabis on things like pain and PTSD, with many veterans around the country who already have turned to cannabis for one reason or another. 

## Now there are some cannabis companies who have launched efforts to <b>campaign and show support for veterans</b> too.

<center></center>Veterans around the United States have suffered significantly in a variety of ways, having been shown to turn to drugs and alcohol to help cope with the myriad of problems that they might be dealing with. 

*This population has also been heavily impacted by the opioid crisis*. 

It might not make sense to some why freedom for those veterans should be limited in that VA doctors might not be able to recommend or talk about cannabis to veterans, especially in states where it is legal. 

# Previous surveys have indicated that there is notable support from veterans when it comes to cannabis research for medicinal purposes. 
<center></center>Many might also prefer something natural instead of turning to pharma options, their options could be increased if doctors have more freedom in what they can discuss with them. 

### If there is something that could potentially improve their quality of life then isn't that worth exploring either through research or expanding options for VA docs?
