Pueden imaginar la emoción que puedo sentir, al ir a la papelería en búsqueda de los útiles escolares de mi hijo, quien dará sus primeros pasos en el mundo mágico de la educación el próximo lunes. Veo la estantería mientras una lágrima intenta aparecer, no puedo definir si es por mi felicidad absoluta al ver que mi hijo pronto cumplirá sus 3 años, está sano y es un niño feliz, que se me emociona al escuchar que va a la escuela o por la nostalgia que me invade al saber que estará sin mí por unas horas, en un mundo tan amplio y en una ambiente totalmente desconocido para él. Tal vez sea un poco de ambas.
Al mismo tiempo, mientras busco con mi mirada un cuaderno con temática de dinosaurios, porque estoy segura de que mi hijo lo amará, pienso en el perfecto círculo de la vida. Parece que fue ayer, cuando tomada de la mano de mi padre, escogía mis cuadernos favoritos de alguna comiquita de moda. Años después, estaba ahí, independiente en muchos sentidos, escogiendo la libreta perfecta para mis estudios universitarios, que no fuese muy infantil, pero que si tuviese una decoración linda, que hablara un poco de mi personalidad y sin darme cuenta, ahora estoy aquí, en la misma papelería de siempre con mi hijo tomado de la mano, esperando lo mejor para su futuro y su bienestar, al igual que lo hicieron mis padres.
La vida es ese círculo, que va rodando como burbuja, absorbiendo todo lo bueno que nos ofrecen, para dárselo a quienes siguen nuestros pasos, por eso las huellas que dejamos en nuestros niños, deben ser huellas de amor, porque solo así serán seres adultos independientes, bondadosos y sobre todo felices.
Brindarles educación, es el mejor regalo para nuestros niños, es el regalo que les perdurará por siempre y será su mejor arma en el futuro. Eduquemos con y por el amor.

You can imagine the emotion I can feel, as I go to the stationery store in search of school supplies for my son, who will take his first steps in the magical world of education next Monday. I see the shelf while a tear tries to appear, I can't define if it is because of my absolute happiness to see that my son will soon turn 3 years old, he is healthy and a happy child, who gets excited to hear that he is going to school or because of the nostalgia that invades me knowing that he will be without me for a few hours, in such a wide world and in a totally unknown environment for him. Maybe it's a bit of both.
At the same time, as I search with my eyes for a dinosaur-themed notebook, because I am sure my son will love it, I think of the perfect circle of life. It seems like only yesterday, when, holding my father's hand, I would pick out my favorite notebooks from some trendy comic book. Years later, I was there, independent in many ways, choosing the perfect notebook for my university studies, not too childish, but with a nice decoration, that spoke a little of my personality and without realizing it, now I am here, in the same stationery store as always with my son holding my hand, hoping for the best for his future and his well being, just like my parents did.
Life is that circle that rolls around like a bubble, absorbing all the good things we are offered, to give it to those who follow in our footsteps, that is why the footprints we leave in our children, must be footprints of love, because only then they will be independent, kind and above all happy adults.
Providing education is the best gift for our children, it is the gift that will last forever and will be their best weapon in the future. Let's educate with and for love.
