En Venezuela los Andes está conformado principalmente por los Estados Mérida, Tachira y Trujillo, pero también Barinas y algunas zonas del Estado Apure, forman parte de esta maravilla de la naturaleza. Si tomamos como referencia las características de estos Estados, podemos tener una idea general de su biodiversidad. En la fotografía anterior los protagonistas son unos hermosos frailejones, me gusta mucho como resaltan en la fotografía. Esta planta representa uno de los símbolos naturales del Estado Mérida y está protegida para evitar su extinción, es una especie que solo se da en los páramos, cuando florece forma un verdadero espectáculo en los paisajes del páramo debido a su flor amarilla. Al fondo tenemos el cerro llamado Portachuelo, de él sobresalen cuatro cúpulas que nos indican que ahí está situado el Observatorio Astronómico Llano el Hato, estas cúpulas se abren noche tras noche, para poder admirar el espacio con los telescopios que se encuentran dentro de ellas, siendo este un sitio, que no podemos dejar de visitar y vivir la experiencia de ver las estrellas, a temperaturas muy bajas y a una altura aproximada de 3600 metros sobre el nivel del mar. ¿Te atreves a vivir esta aventura? *** >In the following photograph, we can admire the imposing mountains that surround the villages of the Andean region, a large part of which is used for agricultural work.
