I've been curious about <a href="https://medium.com/@douglasbalmain">Medium</a> for quite some time now. I've heard nothing but good things about the quality of the platform's content, however, it took me a while to delegate the time needed to investigate it.

For the last week or so, I've been getting to know the site and just this morning I purchased the $5/month subscription. Having now spent some time digging through the articles and categories, I'll say this: so far I'm pretty impressed.

<a href="https://medium.com/@douglasbalmain/in-defense-of-our-selves-3b7a8b465593">My first published article</a> to Medium went live this morning and I'm planning on doing a daily <em>(or semi-daily)</em> freewrite-style submission to my new profile.
