Unanswered Questions Asked Of The Self: Finding Value Before The Ashes
<br><br><br>
Our world is going to burn. Do we allow ourselves to sear before the flame ignites?

How do we ascribe value to that which is destined to fail?

We must trade, we must acquire and maintain a certain level of wealth—things of value to offer others who in turn have things of value to offer us. But how is balance and control maintained? At what point do we allow ourselves to pursue our<em>selves</em> rather than trade our<em>selves</em> for the pursuit of our wealth?

The great difficulty in this is in identifying what is valuable inside of a valueless world. How hard is one willing to work to perpetuate a condemned cycle?

How hard are you willing to work to maintain your health, comfortability, and delusional feeling of security?—how do you understand these concepts?—how great is your personal need?

Is freedom contained in the idea of wealth? If not, how does wealth relate to freedom?—how can working for one be made to entail working for the other?

How much effort are you willing to exert to prolong your own existence? Do you work to prolong your existence because you want your existence prolonged?—or do you do so out of fear for the unknown?—or perhaps because you simply <em>"feel"</em> you should, or haven't allowed yourself to give serious thought to the alternative?

"Balmain has emerged with an album that sounds like it could have come out of Detroit in the early-1970s or Muscle Shoals in the late-1970s. It’s a vibrant and rich mix of rock and soul that has all of the swagger of the feel-good decade...
