**Joseph was born in the Era before Civilization. In that Era there was so much wickedness and killings in the world. The rich and the rulers were oppressing the poor and the commoners.**

If you were not in a position of power and you had no connections with anyone in power, you simply had no say and your property would be taken away from you by force. If you resisted, you would be killed and nobody would question their actions. There was totally no justice for the weak.

The rich and the rulers were still not satisfied with what they acquired from the poor. Out of greed, they were always going to war with each other in order to loot the wealth of their fellow rulers. They would have the poor and commoners fight their battles, leading to so much blood shed in the world. At some point, it seemed like the death rate in the world was more than the birth rate.

In this Era, people worshipped several gods. Some Worshipped the moon, some worshipped the goddess of the sea. Some worshipped the sun. While others worshipped other inanimate idols made by themselves. Joseph on his part was never religious. He never believed that these lifeless objects had the power to rule the universe.

All these got Joseph curious. He believed that there should be more to life than the killings and brutality going on in the world. He wondered if there was a supernatural power that rule the world. He wondered where people go when they die. Do they simply stop existing, or is there an after life. This made him embark on a quest in search of the ultimate sacred meaning of life.

Joseph started making inquiries to know how the world actually came to be. He spent most of his days in the ancient libraries reading works by great philosophers. He wasn't satisfied with what he read in the libraries. To him the philosophers were inconclusive and wrote in so many parables without hitting the stone on the head.

One day, he was so engrossed in his research that he slept off in the Library. At about midnight an old man walked up to him and woke him up.

***"I'm sorry sir! I didn't mean to sleep here."*** Joseph said thinking that he was the Librarian.

Meanwhile the old man just stood there smiling. Joseph rubbed his eye and realized that the Librarian wasn't that old.

***"Oh! I'm sorry sir! I mistook you for the Librarian"***

***"There's nothing to be sorry for."*** The old man replied."

***"But then who are you, and why are you in the Library By This Time?"*** I asked a bit curious.

***"Who we are is not important, What Is important is Why We Are Who We Are."***

***"You speak in parables sir."***

***"I have watched you come here in search of answers to the meaning of life and I must say, I admire your passion and SPIRITUALITY."***

***"Unfortunately, the answers I seek goes beyond the works I have read here."***

***"What if I told you that I know the perfect place to get your answers."***

***"Please Take Me To This Place! How much do I have to pay for the answers I seek."***

***"This is not a place your money can get you. The only Price you might have to pay is your life."***

***"Honestly Sir, these answers are worth giving my life. It is much better than living a life with no meaning. Much better than living without knowing the Purpose of living."***

***"The passion burns within you. Well, to find the answers you seek, you must journey to the mountain of the gods. But I warn you, very few people who have made this journey came back alive and anyone that comes back alive never remains the same."***

"Wise one, provided I get to know the true ultimate meaning of life. Provided I get to know the supernatural realm that rules the world. Provided I get a true religious experience. Then I'm willing to pay the ultimate price."

With this reply, the old man realized that Joseph was determined to do whatever it takes to satisfy his curiosity. He gave him the map to the mountain of the gods.

***"Thank you so much sir! I am forever indebted to you."***

Without any delay, at first light, Joseph left the Library went straight home and prepared what he needed for the journey. He bade his loved ones farewell not knowing what the outcome of his journey would be.

*Joseph didn't mind if he would lose his life to this mission, but deep down He wanted to come back alive and teach the people what true **SPIRITUALITY** is all about. To him spirituality wasn't all about Religion And worshipping a certain god. To him it was all about having a certain connection With the true supernatural power that ruled the world. It was about knowing the true meaning and purpose of life.*
