What is a **SMART CONTRACTS**?

Smart contracts represent a functional extension of **blockchain**. They are self-triggering contracts that are linked to specified conditions of two **parties**. These conditions are immutably recorded in the protocol code. The most popular platform for running smart contracts is **Ethereum**.

How do these **contracts** work? 

Basically, smart contracts are small programs that run on a blockchain and can execute them automatically. Similar to classical contract, conditions and actions are defined for this purpose. Smart contracts thereby benefit from the properties of the blockchain and are **immutable** and **transparent**. 

It ensures the functionality of the blockchain a secure execution of contracts at minimal cost. The benefits are many. Smart contracts can be executed in an automated manner without wasting time and without depending on high transaction costs.

A smart contract is like a separate account with an address without a holder. **Nobody** owns the **PrivateKey**. 
Once it's made, you can't change it. 
The account is automated and can connect to others. 
To do this, one must **sign**. (DIGITAL]

**Smart Contract** are suitable for use in: 
- Financial Services 
- banking 
- payments 
- Settlement 
- mortgages 

Smart Contracts is a great solution. 
I use **METAMASK**. Really a great cool thing. 
Just started setting it up a month ago. 
For **Pancake** very useful. 
For **ETH** network I also used it **BUT** the charges disaster.

Smart Contracts stellen eine funktionale Erweiterung von **Blockchain** dar. Es sind sich selbst auslösende Verträge, welche an festgelegte Bedingungen zweier **Parteien** gekoppelt sind. Diese Bedingungen sind unveränderbar im Protokollcode festgehalten. Die beliebteste Plattform zum Ausführen von Smart Contracts ist **Ethereum**.

Wie funktionieren diese **Contracts**? 

Im Grunde sind Smart Contracts kleine Programme, die auf einer Blockchain laufen und die sie automatisiert ausführen können. Ähnlich bei klassischen Vertrag werden dazu Bedingungen und Handlungen definiert. Intelligente Verträge profitieren dabei von den Eigenschaften der Blockchain und sind **unveränderbar** und **transparent**. 

Sie gewährleistet die Funktionalität der Blockchain eine sichere Ausführung der Verträge zu minimalen Kosten. Die Vorteile sind vielseitig. Intelligente Verträge können automatisiert und ohne Zeitverlust ausgeführt werden, ohne dabei von hohen Transaktionskosten abhängig zu sein.

Ein Smart Contract ist wie ein eigenes Konto mit einer Adresse ohne Inhaber. **Niemand** Besitz den **PrivatKey**. 
Sobald es hergestellt wurde, kann man es nicht mehr ändern. 
Das Konto ist automatisiert und kann sich mit anderen Verbinden. 
Hierzu muss man **unterschreiben**. (DIGITAL)

**Smart Contract** eignen sich für den Einsatz im Bereich: 
- Finanzdienstleistungen 
- Bankwesen 
- Zahlungen 
- Abrechnung 
- Hypotheken 

Smart Contracts ist eine tolle Lösung. 
Ich benutze **METAMASK**. Echt eine tolle coole Sache. 
Habe erst vor einen Monat begonnen mit dem einrichten. 
Für **Pancake** sehr nützlich. 
Für **ETH** Netzwerk habe ich es auch genutzt **ABER** die Gebühren Katastrophe.
