[INSIGHT ANALYSIS] on user growth and user behaviour of steemit.com community

<p>As many of you know for a community it is important to be aware how it is growing and if the growth is sustainable. I have visualised some data which is available about the &nbsp;user behavior of visitors coming to steemit.com.</p>
<p>In total there are around <strong>28901 accounts on steemit.com </strong>as of 19th July 2016. At the moment on average around <strong>1000 new accounts</strong> are generated <strong>per day. </strong>In general one can say the more traffic the more signups.&nbsp;</p>
<p><em><strong>What is our Visitor to signup rate (new and recurring once)</strong></em></p>
<p>At the moment on average around <strong>1,8% of Visitors convert into a Registration</strong>.<br>
The best day was so far <strong>13th of July which had a signup rate of about 3,5%</strong> which is around double the average.&nbsp;</p>
<p><em><strong>How about heavy users on steemit.com</strong></em></p>
<p>In general around <strong>16 to 20% o</strong>f registered members are <strong>heavy users o</strong>f steemit.com which accounts for around 5000 members. This is a very good sign so far and shows the the community is growing healthy.</p>
<p>I assume there is now a community of around<strong> 1000 People</strong> which is really the core or so called<strong> hardcore users.</strong>&nbsp;</p>
<p>We will see how this develops, a lot will have to to what the Marketing or PR or more or less the Outreach plan is.&nbsp;</p>

I upvoted you.  That is interesting that 3000 users signed up on July 13th.  Because I was looking at SteemWhales.com and pretty much determined there were about 3500-4000 active accounts on here right now.  And the gates are closed.  We are so lucky to be on Steemit. yes i am writing an a proposal for marketing and growth strategy as we sit i have a strong opinion as we have here code specialists we need as well marketing specialists otherwise it will just evaporate over time
