So there has been huge debate and arguments over my daily gems and well I felt it is time to share with you in detail exactly what I do and how I go about doing it.

No one ever knows what is really happening behind the scenes. So here is my directors cut of what actually happens.

So here it is ... I wake up 6am every morning, more or less, I put on the computer and then go shower(did I mention that this would be in great detail). I get back sit down and so it begins... the fight through the steemit>new section. 

The loading circle begins(South African internet is slow)... and still continues to load. 

Finally spam starts to appear...

After a few minutes of drowning in the posts I get a breath of fresh air. I immediately start to scroll down... and down... I will have the hulk scrolling finger soon. 1 hour... 2 hours ... finally 3 hours has been reached. So the search begins, don't get me wrong I still look at some of the span, I don't just scroll up and look for catchy headings or pictures. That would be fair as I want to give everyone and equal opportunity so I open every single post spam or not. Some posts burn my eyes as many of the people on the steemitabuse-classics know. 

Once I have gotten back to the top of the steemit>new section

I begin checking out the promotion channels in(see if I have missed anything and find a few posts that are great). Once I have reached the top of the new section that refresh button starts to crumble beneath my mighty left click. Post at this time is found under 15 minutes and it has been the case that I find posts that will get a "home-run". You can be angry with this but hey it just shows I am really getting quality posts for you to read. 

So now we get to the number of featured posts(and no 5 is not the limit). Once I have found 5 it doesn't mean that I now sit back relax and have lunch... **NO** I push forward with guns blazing against the swarm of spam, hacking my way through leaving a trail of upvotes in my wake

It is now 3pm-5pm and with my gun fully loaded with amazing posts, I upload it for all to see and use. 

HEHEHE now it is my turn to "spam" in the comments. I sit behind my computer scream with a huge grin as I spam out my "link-this is where I will be featuring your post today". Oh the joy I receive while doing this.

Many reply to my "EVIL SPAM" with great thanks and joy, they are probably sitting there pressing the link, like a little child, with joy and excitement rushing through their bodies. 

After a lot of comments thanking me for the work I am doing and telling me which one they like and which was the best. I start to receive that hater vibe in channels and as the hater comments come in. I look at my computer and feel like this...

Oh yes that is right... I feel some anger flowing trough my body... not because YOU are HATING on my post but because YOU didn't bother to go UPVOTE any of the POST which has been FEATURED in my post... Then some of you press the mighty RED FLAG BUTTON and feel so empowered... yet you still haven't upvoted any of the posts, or even read them...

**SHOCKING!!!** right... I don't think that idea had ever past their mind...  now here is another shocker for you. If you were looking for great posts and upvoting them well then I wouldn't have to spend time looking for them for you and then you getting all upset about it... and I'm trying to help you out... **LOGIC???** Well that went out the window.

Why do you read the daily gems? Are you using it so that you can make "5" out of your 20 upvotes for the day? Do you use it because you love reading great articles? Do you just go into every post which is featured and just upvote as you know they need your upvote? Are you even spending time to go upvote the posts? Are you trying to improve your posts quality to get into my daily gems? Is is a way in which you are getting inspiration and improving your life?

I am going to be honest with you... I am seriously irritated but I can't be angry with you guys as you are allowed your opinion and freedom of speech. 

I have to commend on you diligent work in your posts against me. They are really well written, great format and you have also take them time to provide some illustrations to back up your post. You make great posts and you spend much time in making these posts. Therefore I am not angry, beats the spam posts I go through everyday, so I am actually thankful that you put time and effort into your writing.

PS thank you to all those who have shown their support. Also, thank you all for writing and commenting whether it be you hating on me or thanking me. 

For all those "haters" out there. I love you guys as you put effort and time into making your "hater" posts and some of them are really good(not going to lie). By far beats the spam out there. 

This post didn't come close to taking as much time in making as my daily gems do. There an interesting thought for. I would rather write a post that will help others out than write my own post that doesn't help out. **SHOCKER!!!** again isn't that funny and ironic!
