He's really quite an extraordinary boy. (sorry, he tells me he's not a boy anymore. hahaha but I correct him and tell him he will always be my boy!) I loved listening back over this episode and remembering all that we've gone through- thick and thin, and how we are stronger for it. Of course this journey focuses on Mikey - but how I'd love to really gush over the rest of my family too. But they know that we do this as a team, and that no one stand out more than the other. We are unified and strong and I'm so proud of how our hearts are so knit together in love and support and trust. Maybe I'm more emotional over this episode because it's more recent, and all these things are still fresh in my mind. I don't know, but I'm just sitting here smiling, content. I love it! Smiling too... what a great episode. It's in these moments "in between the raindrops" when we really appreciate everything that has been achieved and is still being achieved, the closeness of the bonds, the trust, the love, the mutual respect... that we realise how much we do love doing life with our children - and how the struggles just bring us closer. My Jack and I are very close. I'm the one he shows the most love and affection towards and the most anger !LOLZ ... My Oliver is sometimes a bit too cool for school... but when its just the two of us... he will pull me in close for cuddles too and ask me not to leave him at night, to stay and chat in bed... I love those times 💞 So happy for you all that you have such a close-knit family. Much !LUV
