The New Need For Speed (2015) is an open world racing video game developed by Ghost Games and published by Electronic Arts. It has nice Graphics, an decent Gameplay and an short but pretty good storyline that was missing in Need For Speed games for a long time (Need For Speed The Run in 2011!!!).

As a "Reboot" it tries to combine the best aspects of all the Need For Speed Series Games, but focuses more on the Underground-Most Wanted(2005) Era Games that had Illegal Street Racing, Car Customization to the Limit (Visual and Performance) and all that in an new Frostbite 3 Engine that makes it look awesome with beautiful Light Effects, Rain Particles and much much more that make the only-Night game look perfect.

But,

The Game has many downsides. It's criticized for being always-online, having no daytime racing, rubber-banding AI, not the best Police AI, lacking a cockpit view, the inability to pause the game, having no manual transmission, and lacking drag races (the latter two being added in an update afterwards).

The EA Servers are not the best as we know from the SimCity fealure (also always-online forced) back in 2013 and so the Game suffers in Gameplay often, because of Serverlag or at worst it doesn't even connect to the Server at all.

Daytime would be nice and I guess they will be adding this feature in an upcoming update. The Game also needs many improvements in the Police and other AI Drivers AI. Cockpit is not so important for me, but it would be a nice feature if Customization Parts like Speed-Tachos, LED's, Racing Seats would be added to the game too, but Illegal Street Racing with sharp Corners in the Dark + Police Chasing after you in Cockpit would be really difficult to drive and would need a lot of practice, if even possible!

Pausing in an Online Game is a Problem in League of Legends, Battlefield, Call of Duty and many other Games too, so this is an Global Problem of all Online Games and I don't think it needs to be called anyway, cause after all Need For Speed(2015) is an Online Game.

In Conclusion

I can say that Ghost Games did a great job. They don't managed to create the "perfect Need For Speed" as they told from the beginning, but it's a start, and I'm already waiting to see what kind of improvements will come in Futute Updates of Need For Speed (2015) and how the next Need For Speed Game will be like next Year!
