### <center>Reading the book of our lives</center>

I've always had a very expansive, precise and long-lasting memory. I have clear memories of my first years, of dreams, of specific details of experiences that I had ten, twenty or thirty years ago. Due to the fundamentally rational education that regular schools attempt to transmit us and the general perspective that the brain is the main seat of intelligence, creativity and other human capacities, for most of my life I assumed that memory was a cerebral function and saw myself as an intellectual, mental man. Then I started to glimpse the relationship between memory and emotions, my perspective started changing, but I still had to deal with a major blockage: the grief of mom's death.  Quite simply, I didn't want to enter my Heart.

Fortunately, I could overcome that gargantuan chasm right on time to successfully face dad's death and, thanks to my first solid accomplishments in magical practices, to my first ceremonies with sacred plants and to a very intense relationship with an astoundingly gorgeous and wonderful woman, I finally began my emotional exploration, started consciously inhabiting my Heart. My understanding of memory has expanded a lot since then. All of our body and our energetic field is filled with memories, the bulk of our physical operation depends on unconscious programs codified in our cells by generations of evolution and interbreeding. We remember with our whole being, even up to the Prime Generation of our Tree, and that information is never lost or inactive, it's an eternal book which we can undoubtedly access, but not easily, the Heart demands total surrender and faith.

We must work on our emotions willingly and strongly, clarify doubts, resolve dissonances, heal pains. It's the only way to recover access to our memories and this, in turn, is a requirement to read our personal and ancestral narrative, to reclaim our cosmic heritage, dismantle unconscious codes and unlearn the fears that prevent us from seeing the Light within us.

### <center>Leyendo el libro de nuestras vidas</center>

Siempre he contado con una memoria muy amplia, precisa y longeva. Tengo memorias claras de mis primeros años, de sueños, de detalles específicos de experiencias que tuve diez, veinte o treinta años atrás. Debido la educación fundamentalmente racional que las escuelas regulares intentan transmitirnos y a la perpectiva generalizada de que el cerebro es el principal asiento de la inteligencia, la creatividad y otras capacidades humanas, por la mayor parte de mi vida asumí que la memoria era una función puramente cerebral y me veía a mí mismo como un hombre intelectual, mental. Luego comencé a vislumbrar la relación entre la memoria y las emociones, mi perspectiva fue cambiando, pero aún tenía que lidiar con el mayor bloqueo: el dolor por la muerte de mamá. Simplemente, no quería entrar en mi Corazón.

Por fortuna, pude superar ese ciclópeo escollo justo a tiempo para enfrentar exitosamente la muerte de papá y, gracias a mis primeros avances sólidos en prácticas mágicas, a mis primeras ceremonias con plantas sagradas y a una relación muy intensa con una mujer hermosísima y maravillosa, finalmente inicié mi exploración emocional, empecé a habitar mi Corazón conscientemente. Mi comprensión de la memoria se ha expandido mucho desde entonces. Todo nuestro cuerpo y nuestro campo energético está lleno de memorias, el grueso de nuestro funcionamiento físico depende de programas inconscientes codificados en nuestras células por generaciones de evolución y mestizaje. Recordamos con todo nuestro ser, incluso hasta la Primerísima Generación de nuestro Árbol, y esa información nunca se pierde ni se desactiva, es un libro eterno al cual podemos sin duda acceder, pero no fácilmente, el Corazón demanda total entrega y fe.

Debemos trabajar voluntaria y fuertemente en nuestras emociones, clarificar dudas, resolver disonancias, sanar dolores. Es la única forma de recobrar acceso a nuestras memorias y ésto, a su vez, es un requerimiento para leer nuestra narrativa personal y ancestral, para reclamar nuestra herencia cósmica, desmantelar códigos inconscientes y desaprender los miedos que nos impiden ver la Luz en nuestro interior.

Commence the tasks that you had planned without any more delays, your work is testament to your skill. Discard the fear of being wrong or you will never make progress; all creation demands destruction. Do not wait for the approval of others, fulfill your function and be loyal to your energy. Connect with the earth and pick up your pace, fortune shines upon those who claim it.

Emprende las tareas que te has planteado sin más restrasos, tu obra es testamento de tu habilidad. Descarta el temor a equivocarte o nunca vas a progresar; toda creación demanda destrucción. No esperes por la aprobación de otros, cumple con tu función y sé leal a tu energía. Conéctate con la tierra y aumenta el paso, la fortuna brilla sobre quien la reclama.
