##### Text: 2 Corinthians 8:18-23 
> And we have sent with him the brother, whose praise is in the gospel throughout all the churches;
And not that only, but who was also chosen of the churches to travel with us with this grace, which is administered by us to the glory of the same Lord, and declaration of your ready mind:
Avoiding this, that no man should blame us in this abundance which is administered by us:
Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.
And we have sent with them our brother, whom we have oftentimes proved diligent in many things, but now much more diligent, upon the great confidence which I have in you.
Whether any do enquire of Titus, he is my partner and fellow helper concerning you: or our brethren be enquired of, they are the messengers of the churches, and the glory of Christ.

Gifts had been gathered by Macedonian congregations for need, Christians but carefulness is needed in administering the benevolence Apostle Paul had to send a person of integrity to them to oversee everything someone that he has confidence in, the type of people the Church needs today to see her through various challenges. We can imagine what the Church and our society will become if we all give integrity a pride of place in our hearts as Christians, parents, teachers, students, traders, employees and employers. We have the duty to, “provide for honest things not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men." (Verse 21) The habit of integrity is needed to sustain our purpose in the universe and perform our individual roles effectively in the society. Someone said, “when others are bending, you stand, when they . are standing, you become outstanding, when they are outstanding, become the standard.” This is exactly what Paul saw in Titus before he made the decision to choose him as the administrator of the benevolence. 

Integrity is the quality attained by someone due to the positive values in him or her. A structure, for example, may be said to lack integrity if it is not well constructed or maintained. So many things make the road to integrity very rough Stormy marriages, recalcitrant children, societal problems, poverty, and unemployment are parts of these limitations; however these should not serve as excuses for us to show integrity as children of God. 

##### Luke 16:1-12 
> And he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods.
And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward.
Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed.
I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses.
So he called every one of his lord's debtors unto him, and said unto the first, How much owest thou unto my lord?
And he said, An hundred measures of oil. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty.
Then said he to another, And how much owest thou? And he said, An hundred measures of wheat. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and write fourscore.
And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.
And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations.
He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?
And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?

Majority of people hide themselves under fake lives in order to be loved for what they are not but a man of integrity prefers to be hated for being his real self than to be loved for what he is not. Therefore, to become your real self in a world which is doing its best every day to make you somebody else means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight and never stop fighting. In the words of William Penn , “Right is right even if everyone is against it and wrong is wrong, even if everyone is for it”. It pays to always stand for what is right even if it makes you lonely. 

In fact, for you to be outstanding, you need to stand out of the crowd. We can't protect ourselves from the mess .in our environment or hide from being troubied by them; however, we can decide to uphold our honour. It is the habit of always saying or doing what is right irrespective of people‘s approval. Such a life requires being honest with oneself and others which sets one apart in a world where people act differently from what they say. Someone described a man of integrity: 'What he thinks is what he feels. What he feels is what he says. What he says is what he does. What he feels, thinks, says and does, are all the same. Integrity therefore can be described as the perfect alignment of thoughts, words, and actions. 

Conclusion can be made that the reason why we suffer is a result of our lack of integrity a person who had not been faithful with the thing given to him or her will not likely have another opportunity. The negative beliefs and scarcity mentality that we grew up with had created all kinds of fear in our minds such that our real self had been suppressed. These had made our body and mind to fall out of line with each other so that the body no longer does what the mind says and one begins to say “yes” when the heart says 'no'. We can understand this better if we realize that no one ever taught a small child how to lie. Lack of integrity is a basic social problem because man right from childhood had unconsciously learnt how to build a barrier to shield his inner self from people to see, and begins to act differently from what is in his mind. People lack self~honesty, much less being honest with others; it is left for each of us to break these barriers down by ourselves in order to live a life of integrity.
