freaking out about topping my plants!

My first experience with "topping" seemed like a NIGHTMARE. These 2-month-old organic pink kush seedlings are precious to me, but I finally managed to get the dirty deed done.

We've been having issues with DTube playback for a couple days now. Usually we escape trouble, but not lately. Sometimes clicking "source" helps jar it into motion. Uploads have been okay for us lately.

I tried uploading to Dtube last summer but was never able to do it. The service really seems to be improving though so I think I'll try again rather soon.  I'm still not clear on where our uploads are hosted. I know they call it IPFS but who actually runs the storage. I'm also wondering if I can host an IPFS server of my own videos so they don't disappear off Dtube. I'd like to find these things out before my vacation ends and I have to go back to work.

Not this time, because it was my first time properly topping my plants. I try and only do 1 brand new thing at a time, generally. I'm definitely excited to try some clones, perhaps in a few weeks when there's lots of new growth. : )

I cant watch vids which is shit because i run on mobile data and it costs alot to watch vids haha oh plus the internets so fucking slow haha. Put some pics in with your posts also ☺ i like topping plants because i like bushes, small and productive. Great that @greenunion is on here! Introducing farmers. I never top.  Just squeeze and bend.  Sometimes I will use a clothes pin for a week or so to keep the top bent until the branches catch up.  Bending seems to have the same end result as topping in my experience. 
I usually use lower branches for cloning.

yea I always hate topping! Just cutting off the the top is painful, but necessary most of the time :)

I have done a small indoor grow in the past where I didn't top, I just bent and trained the top to grow under my homemade trellis (scrog) and I've gotta admit it turned out insane, the top was mental. But still, I would top now just to get more energy to the other buds!

Thanks! Have you grown pink kush before? I'm enjoying the strain, nice and compact, pleasant-smelling so far.
I'm happy (now) that I topped them. The rest of the foliage seems to have plumped up since then (as though the growing energy is going into them instead of the top). Soon I hope to see some new stems growing.

No I haven’t grow a kush before! It will be an incredible end product that’s for sure :) I will have to grow kush soon! I used to be all about sativas, I started with some indoor stuff on smaller scale and it took me a few attempts to learn what to do and not do. Recently have been involved in big outdoor organic which was amazing :) I’ll post some more pics later today!
