Time to jump onto EOS if you haven't already.

'Why EOS?' I hear you asking. 

But let's start with 'what EOS?' first, if that's okay. And I'll make it really quick, and really simple.

EOS is, amongst other things, an open source platform upon which anyone can build decentralised applications, or DApps. See? Short and sweet.

But here's the good bit. Because DApp developers have decided they can avoid all the SEC compliance issues of Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs and the whole "is an ICO a security" debate) by just dropping tokens to EOS holders instead of running the whole ICO process. So they have been. And so far, the following have dropped on the new EOS blockchain to EOS holders.

Now, most of these are 1:1 drops to the EOS holders when the blockchain went live - the so-called 'genesis' snapshot. But there's no reason to assume that drops will be limited to original EOS holders in the future, as snapshots can be done at any time - and as time passes there will be good reasons to expand the drops to all EOS users.

Now I'm no financial advisor, and this isn't financial advice. But it seems like a pretty good opportunity to me, especially with EOS at its current price.

That is great news, I have been holding EOS for a very long time and just bought some more before they locked it up, so am very pleased to read this, hope all goes accordingly.

That’s great post. Thanks for sharing. I have noticed now a days #EOS holders getting ditched by phishing attacks and losing their private key. [Check here what kind of phishing mail](https://steemit.com/eos/@techstack/beware-about-phishing-mail-asking-you-to-eos-registration) they got and lost their #EOS private  key.
