.  Coffee is one of the most popular drinks in the world.  It is also one of the most financially lucrative for those that trade in it.  

Unfortunately, the party actually growing the coffee crop doesn't get the benefit of such incredible amount of global revenue derived from coffee trades.  This is because they really don't have a say in how much they get paid for their coffee beans.

You can find [**fair-trade**](http://www.fairtrade.org.uk/Farmers-and-Workers/Coffee) coffee, which goes towards addressing the issue to an extent.
