I never plan to get a new cactus, but it happens all the time

<h3>Well, I don't know any Latin names for cacti, maybe I will dedicate to it when I get older, but now, they are really great company on my balcony and backyard. I like them, they are bad motherfuckers, they are not sensitive so much so you don't have to watch them all the time. It is very easy to grow them. The best thing is that you can cut some piece from a cactus and &nbsp;put it in the soil and you will get a new cactus for few days or week. I will explain later how to do it properly.&nbsp;</h3>
<p>So, whenever I visit my friends or some people, I look at their cacti and often ask for a piece of it <strong>(or I steal it!</strong>). Or, when I go to the market to buy some other things, and I see this little cactus standing on the shelf and watching at me, I just think:</p>
<p><em>"OK, I will save you!"</em></p>
<h3>Many times I find myself looking at the cacti and their spines, and they remind me on the people.&nbsp;</h3>

<h2>Honestly, I don't know where did I get this one, but he lives in a same pot with a pair of common houseleeks and a urchin shell.</h2>

<p>When you want to grow a cactus from a cutting, it is good to take a cutting from the middle of mother - cactus (if it is possible). Then take a pot and fill it with dry soil, but just half of the pot. Then you put the bottom side of your cutting in the middle of the pot, &nbsp;then fill the rest of the pot with dry soil. And that's it! You don't have to water it because the cutting has all water that it need in itself.&nbsp;It will grow very slowly in first few weeks or months.&nbsp;</p>

I spent the weekend on a cactus farm. I have new found respect for these dudes. 1800 different species of cactii..... Some over 90 years old and some 10 cm's others 12 metres....amazingly diverse
