This technique is gleaned from two sources: NatureBoy via Shroomery.org & Noman @ DMT-NEXUS.COM -- This approach is easy to use and hard to mess up.

--This is my stylized approached to the Straight to Base recipe.  I am spreading this information for the sole purpose of education.  I am not condoning or encouraging illegal activity. This "tek" requires the use of Mimosa Hostilis Root Bark which is not illegal, however <em>it is illegal</em> to extract dimethyltryptamine from MHRB.

Extracting DMT is an art-form and a science.  For the sake of simplicity, I will only be outlining the extraction method and omitting the scientific details.
<h2>You will need:</h2>
100 grams of <strong>shredded MHRB</strong>

1 Mason Quart Jar &amp; 1 Regular Mouth 4 ounce Mason Jar

Distilled Water

<h2>EXTRACTION PROCESS:</h2>
1)  Fill the 1 Qt mason jar with 60oml of distilled water

2) Weigh out 100g of granulated lye in a disposable cup or any other container.  Please be very careful handling lye; wear gloves and eye protection as a precaution.  Make sure you are in a well ventilated area.  Slowly pour the lye to the distilled water.  Always add granulated lye to water... <em><strong>DO NOT</strong></em> add water to the granulated lye.  The distilled water will become cloudy grey, almost milky white and it will become hot --this is normal.  Slowly stir the mixture and wait for it to clear up.

3) Measure 100g of shredded root bark and add it to the 1 qt jar with the lye solution.  Close the jar with the lid.  Shake the jar so all the MHRB gets mixed in with the solution.  Your jar should look like this:

<em>**Notice that there is empty space in the jar.  We will be pouring VM &amp; P Naptha to the solution in a couple of steps below. **</em>

4) Place the jar in a warm place &amp;  wait at least 24 hours before moving on to the next step.  5) Measure out 100ml of naptha and pour it into the 1 qt jar.  Swirl the jar several times throughout the day.  Leave it in a warm place and wait 24 hours.  I recommend you place the jar in a place where direct sunlight will hit it.  After some time the naptha will turn into a yellow cast.  Don't move on to the next step until it does.

6) Use the turkey baster to suck up the naptha, be careful not to draw up any of the MHRB/lye mixture.  Pour the naptha solution to the 4 oz jar and close the lid.

7)Ensure that your freezer is set to the coldest setting.  Place the 4 oz jar into the freezer and wait 24 hours.  After some time, you will notice that there will be crystals forming in the jar.  Once this happens, pour out the naptha back into 1 qt jar.  Don't worry about the crystals that fall back into the 1 qt jar.  You can continue doing 2-3"pulls"  , so there will be nothing going to waste.

I recommend you let the 4 oz jar with the crystals sit in the freezer for an extended period of time.  This will ensure that all of the naptha completely evaporates from the glass jar.  You can continue extracting from the naptha left in the 1 qt jar, until the the yield drops.

The final product should look like this:

This is a really simple way of extracting DMT from MHRB.  The ideal is to have really white crystals.  However, if your product looks yellowish do not fret.  This simply means that you've also extracted other alkaloids alongisde with the DMT.  This will produce a slightly different psychedelic effect than with purely white crystals.  Nonetheless, the impact of this heavenly substance will be just as powerful.
