We have many things people that introduce you to give might not tell when you join that might be costly or stop you from developing fast even if you put a lot of effort into hive some small mistakes have their way of destroying our account. We all know that one of the most powerful tools on this platform is reputation because it shows how stable and active you have been over the years and any time you want to be dealt with is mostly through your reputation. 

### Plagiarism.

This is a popular one and sometimes when are introduced to hive they thought we should know this because it is normal, most people fail because they thought they can cheat the system, some think how is it possible for the system to know when you copy a few lines from another site but they become surprised when hivewatcher come knocking.

Just like in real life where we look for a shortcut and how to skip the process, how we can make money with less effort which normally ends up bad and the same thing goes with hive, you will end up losing your account if you keep going this path.

### Don't provoke the whales.

I know this might be funny but no matter how funny this might be is one of those things that you must run away from and never do. The power is with them and if you run a small account like me it is always better to know your place. One of the best ways to do this is to avoid every whale directly and indirectly. You can avoid them directly by not having any fights with them and instead make them your friend.

Another way not to provoke the whale is to join the rant, this is the indirect way. I have seen newbie joining the fight they don't understand and get punish for it.

### Reposting 

I know based on common sense, we should know that posting a posts you’ve posted before does not make any sense but people do this based on laziness. You know sometimes trying to figure out what to posts and during this process, they decide to post one of their former post which is against the rule of the community and it is also plagiarism.

## Conclusion
 
I know all this will help and to grow your account. You must stay away from these things. As far as I can remember this are one of the few things people will not tell you, but I know there might be more people are not saying or that I am not aware of and you can do us a favour sharing it in the comments section.
