 *** *** A few days ago, I was talking about Choice, and I mentioned how our choice determines a lot of things that are going to happen to us. But we have two types of choices. We have the choice of action, what we choose to do, whether it is good or bad, whether we act or not, and we have the choice of perspective, what we choose to believe because these two work together, and the choice of perspective is greater than the choice of action. When I was in university, there was a lecturer that I didn’t like and this is because the man doesn’t know how to teach. So because of these, I did not like this man and they got to a point that I started to believe that I won’t pass his course and if at all I’m going to pass, I’m not going to do well. The belief affected me and I find it difficult to study his course and understand. When the results came out, I did poorly in that course. The choice Sometimes what we believe in will determine how we are going to react. Your choice of perspective will determine your choice of action. We have some people with great potential because they choose to believe in something wrong they have always been getting bad results and these have nothing to do with their circumstances or situation. Some people already fail even before they start just because they choose to believe in the wrong thing. We have so many people in this situation, believing that something is impossible, believing that they cannot. But when you start having these ideas, it makes it very difficult for you to succeed because they will affect your decision. They will affect your choice of actions, and instead of choosing the right way of doing things, believing that you can succeed, you will feel reluctant to continue or to work toward the result. Change your perspective Some people find it difficult to succeed in what they are doing because of perspective. A simple change in perspective can change the whole story. This can take them from zero to a hundred for having the right perspective, it will also affect your choice in your decision making and this can easily guarantee your success. We must find a way not to believe in a bad perspective or things that give us a bad belief because our perspective is a powerhouse. Sometimes it is one of those things we have to guide to be successful.
