Curating manually best way to go

The success of every community comes from the positive impact of the members, the long term vision of the members, their support, the crucial decisions of it members and the work behind scene of it’s owners.

Proof of brain show a promising start and with the look of things this rapid growth don’t just come easily, it comes from a lot of obvious reasons but one the reason is engagements , because engagement is a very important key in development.

Every community needs engagement because without it the community will be dead, without wasting much of our time and how can we improve our engagement level that’s the question many have been asking recently.

### Manual curation.

I came across a post saying manual curation is not important and curating manually does not guarantee whether the post is a quality post or not but the person forget the engagement part.

Manual curation makes you do more on a post, automatic voting doesn’t and the bot help you do the job, the recent hardfork shows how important engagement can be.

Curating Manually makes you feel the pain, passion and the message the writer is trying to pass across, you can only comment on a post that you have the true understanding about and commenting bring about conversation, understanding and unity.

Curating manually also makes you relate with the community better by also writing a post relating with the community hot topics because you would have gain a lot and give you better understanding on what to write.

Curating manually also helps in community generating revenue I don’t know much about that but I know that’s in one way or the other when people engage more with the community frontend it’s helps in growth of the community on its revenue.

### Conclusion.

Curating manually provides healthy community where you get know why you are giving a particular person part of your rewards pool, this enables engagement and prosperity of the community and for the investors also.

After thinking things through, I have set my account to auto-vote if its above 96% voting power incase things happen. But I don't think it will happen much since I tend to use my VP quite a bit.

Because there is nothing worse what I can do to myself, than let my voting power stay idling at 100%

Manual curation is good but then automatic voting isn't so bad when done rightly. Some people Only have a specific type of people they vote. This isn't mean. I switch it up, which makes me more of a manual curator to a particular extent.

As far as i could tell, manual curating is really what has been a game changer on Hive comparing to past records of auto votes and bot votes. 
 
We now have real people curating and engaging more everyday, with time i believe more curators will adopt this method.

As good as this may sound,I still want to believe that it is one sided and it won't be of help to Many users especially this who are new,don't get me wrong am an advocate for good and quality contributions interms of comments and post,but not all users here can promote their post or get their post on trending level and how many users will love to go back and start searching for post not even the big whale as we call them can do that,that is why I concur to this auto voting concept,but I still strong think that if their is anything that can be do to make sure that people with quality contributions bare rewards,they should please put them.in place

Too many people support auto voting but I don’t think it is helping, recently one of major new of the hf25 is that it gives manual curator a chance for their efforts.

I would like to add that commenting on a post that is past 7 days generates new opportunities for the author and the commenter to generate rewards. So, it is still worthwhile to read and interact with old content.
