When I gained to university I had nothing and I was fully dependent. My mother is a single mother with three boys that she had to take care of and this situation makes me barely survive in school. I knew within me I had to find something to support myself and my mum in a way. A friend of mine thought me how to trade but during this time I had no phone, PC, and capital to start this journey. I couldn't get money from anywhere and I don't want to disturb my mum because I knew sending me to school was a struggle.

I decided to take risks by using part of my school fee to buy a phone and the capital to begin my trading journey because have been saving. I knew what I was dealing with, The risk of jeopardizing my future but my risk was calculated. I removed 20 thousand nairas from my school fee and my feeding money every month money was 10 thousand nairas, the plan was to survive on 5k and use the remaining 5k of my feeding money to pay for the school fee, every month for four months I will return 5k which worked out. I suffered that semester but my risk paid off because that changed my life from the worse to good.

> The fear

The fear of doing such a stupid act was on my mind for months but after I took the risk everything work out like a miracle. There is always a fear at the back of our mind when we are planning to take that risk, the fear of what if, and this fear always feels like a weight every time we thought of it. I have a friend that was thinking of starting up a business but the fear of what if people don't show up was why he waited for two years before starting up this business and after he took the risk he is in a better place now.

When asking ourselves what If is a sign that what we are about to do has risk but the reality is there is nothing that brings about change that doesn't come with its own risk and the fear of what if the first fight in many fights that we will encounter and if we lose that is the end of the journey.

> The turning point 

So many of us have that uniqueness in us and talent was there but we fail to see beyond our fault, we forget that people improve, and even the greatest talent in the world today starts from somewhere. We let people's mockery get to us and we stop building and that could have been our turning point. The fear of a future we don't know has killed many great things because people behave most times as if they have the power to control the future.

Our turning point is not always determined by the number of perfect plans we have but it is determined by the number of tries and errors we make at the end of the day.  Risk is not there to stop us or to create fear in our hearts, risk is there to prepare us, and to work two times harder than everybody around us because we know the risk.
