A guy online was complaining about his friends about how they used to send him on errands just because he didn’t have money and he was staying with them. He complained bitterly because of how his friend normally sends him and he was advising everybody to make sure that they have money not to go through the same thing he is going through. To my surprise when I checked the comments section I realized that a lot of people were supporting him that his friend shouldn’t have done that, I was surprised because I was looking at it differently. 

One of the things that is killing this generation is that they don’t want to serve and they want to spend. Most people are broke and they also have pride because you are staying with your friends who are clothing you, feeding you, and helping you during hard times when you don’t have anything and you are not offering them anything. The only thing that you’re offering is helping them with some errand, but you are also complaining. I don’t know why people feel entitled but you don’t know what you have till you lose it.

Do what you can

Most people don’t know what they have until they lose it. Like that guy,  until his friends send him out and he becomes homeless without having anywhere to go that is when he will understand that his friends are doing him a favor. Instead of him complaining, he should be going on an errand with a smile on his face because somebody who is clothing you,  putting a roof over your head is giving you great help in this our generation where the cost of living is very high. Most people are not ready to serve and they want all the benefits that come with it

No matter the person helping you whether they are younger than you or older than you or you guys are friends, as long as they are helping you and you don’t have anything to offer to help them, always find a way to do your best. Doing your best by serving them can be good or some other things that you know that bring contributions to the table because we cannot be broke and also have pride, It is a sure way of going astray.  You must be ready to serve because it will also help us with determination and commitment to building ourselves and to becoming better.

*It will get better*

At the end of the day, everything is going to get better. You’re not going to be in the same position for the rest of your life and as long as you don’t stop and you keep pushing for a better future it will get better. If you don’t serve, learning, you’re going to become a liability to those who want to help you. It will make your situation worse  and why you can’t contribute make sure you do your part without complaining.
