What if life was in the reverse form, that we started from the end to the beginning? This was the case of Benjamin Button who was born as an old man instead of a child and grew younger as days went by instead of the opposite. Mr Eto, who was pained from the death of his child, made a wall clock that was placed in a rail station. Instead of the normal clockwise rotation, he built the clock to rotate anticlockwise wishing that it was possible that everyone who died during the war would return.

Benjamin's mum died during childbirth, scared that the doctors might kill the child because of his abnormalities and asked a close friend to please run away with him. He did and kept him in a woman's doorstep who was in need of a child because she had none and she raised him in love. Benjamin Button met a lot of people in his life. He watched people grow old and die while he grew younger. He met with a woman who played piano, he met and worked with a sailor who sailed to several countries, and met with a young lady in his neighborhood.

She had grown up to become a dancer and came across Benjamin, this time looking much younger than she had seen him before. They started a love relationship and soon gave birth, he was afraid the child would grow up like an abnormal child but he grew up as a normal child. With time Benjamin started to fear because he grew much younger each day and felt he might become a responsibility to her later in life, he decided to leave and ask her to get married to another man.

He was afraid he would become more of a burden to her if he grew up to become a child. He left and soon he started to grow younger, first into an adolescent, then to a child , and finally to a baby.  No one knows if the curious case of Benjamin had arisen as a reason for the clock Eto placed or his anger of losing his son but the clock was dropped down that year.  The question that keeps popping in my mind is; can we actually grow from the reverse order? Watch the movie and see if you wouldn't be moved to ask yourself the question "Can human grow in reverse order?"
