The pattern has been pretty consistent so far.  Huge boosts and all time highs followed by a "crash" where all the noobs panic sell.  Then back to new all time highs again. 

The only deviation from this pattern was when Mt.Gox happened,  and that was a pretty big blow to Bitcoin for a little while.
