<p>The Earth Custodians blog has already stipulated a few times that, unless people begin to stand up, transhumanism will reveal itself as an electronic prison by 2025 or so. Well it already is much that way but in 8 years or so from now there won't be any way back anymore. </p>
<p>Just assume that you have been (wrongly or not) accused of something, that somebody willing to search your smart phone, grabs and holds it in front of your face to unlock the device set to start with the facial recognition of its owner. Or just imagine that the self-driving car will ask to scan the chip in your hand to start the engine... or record all trips' destinations and discussions. In the late 90's, everybody was raving about how much smart electronic devices and appliances would revolutionize life but it won't be the case. Even bank ATMs will prefer at some point facial recognition over the 4 digit security code. That's how our civilization has always operated since the beginning of the ages, by selling dreams that cannot come true. </p>
<p>The Internet of things is spying on you 24/7, just plain simple -- and it is getting worse by the day. Here are a few leads, should you wish to start your own investigation: </p>
