Showing The Actual Number Of Readers To A Post.
Number of readers would be a big encouragement to every contributor to Steem.

While it is good to see dollar numbers and positive votes on a post, **it will be equally if not a better encouragement to all contributors, if we can see the actual number of readers that read a particular post.**

We all know that not all readers VOTE nor comment. So they can stay anonymous(private) on what they read in and around Steemit. Showing this data on a post will still fill that intention while giving a boost to everyone, making Steemit more lively and everyone will eventually benefit.

If there was a way views could be converted to Steem Power (e.g. pay per click ad model) then yes, show view count. Else it's just noise.

I have to disagree with this. I like that we don't see page view numbers here. Steem is nice exception to every other platform because we don't have much clickbait attitude here that follows with focusing on page views.

I agree with @samupaha. Votes are a good enough indication of who has read and likes the content. Page views wouldn't add anything we need, in my opinion, other than a separate opportunity for click bait posts that people don't upvote. It would become spammy then. The voters have the power now and that's how it should be.
