 These despicable happenings in South Africa has thrown many African countries into chaos questioning what at all might have triggered this whole Xenophobia thing. However this happening is looked at, the truth remains one: The *Problem of Evil*. The whole world is trapped in sin as the scriptures bear witness to. This entrapment, as it records, began as man in the Garden of Eden became obedient to the devil and from thence became servant to the devil; a relationship which was to push man into a downward spiral of sin and evil; a relationship which rendered man trapped in the bondage of sin and evil which our history bears witness to. It is this greater problem that God saw when He looked at all the happenings in this world we live in and paved a way for us to get out of it, and that way is Jesus; His death and resurrection did this as He defeated and broke this power of sin and evil which has taken into bondage our hearts. God made it possible for us to experience this freedom from this evil by simply believing in the Good News of His power and triumph over sin and evil.  It is therefore not only the problem of Xenophobia in particular as indicated but rather the problem of sin and evil which has this whole world in bondage. It is only the power of Christ which is more than able to set our hearts free from this bondage of sin and evil. Let us therefore go on and preach this Good News for therein lies the power of God unto salvation and deliverance from this problem of sin and evil to everyone who believes.  May God help us!
