Short story

There was a time I don't have money to get a pairs of shoe to play soccer, I manage using one of my old canvas to play on the pitch, everyone look down on me because I fall into categories of shoeless, and always make me sad sometimes look at others kit . I have a friend that always come to watch my style of playing, he love it so much, so on my birthday I received a football boot as birthday gift.

The best gift I've got was a journal of my grandfather that I never got a chance to meet passed down to me from my father. 

Finally. I got to know him through his own written thoughts. 

Christmas is a blessing. 

The best memorable gift I received was when I was 8 months pregnant. My friends bought me a lot of gifts. One of them by name Nkechi bought me baby bath and clothes. And when I finally gave birth to my child, she and others stood by my side because then, I lost my mother in the hands of death. And in the city were I was living then, non of my family members are there. So, this friends of mine brought food for me and other things that are necessary that I needed. I can't forget such gifts in a hurry

The memorable gift I ever got was a football boots my aunt bought for me to participate in a tournament and what makes it more memorable was that my team got to the final though we lost but I was grateful I never let her down.

The most memorable gift I received was an alert of an undisclosed amount 😂, though twas big to me and could solve 80%of my need that time.

I think the most memorable gift I ever got was waking up to a $200 wedding gift in my bank account from an unexpected friend of mine, the morning after my wedding night last year.

In other to always appreciate and remember that my friend, I used the money to buy my present cell phone and it has been very helpful in my hive blogging and activities.

This is easily the most memorable gift I have received and I have already told it on several occasions and it was when my friend @felixxx gave me 200 HBD to buy a new phone. A gesture that to this day never ceases to amaze me since helping a person without knowing them in this way speaks of the good heart that @felixxx has. I will be grateful for everything that has helped me grow within #Hive as well.

It's the best gift I've ever received so far. 

When I was a kid my parents gave me a box of Kinder Surprise eggs with toys. As I remember there were more than 30 eggs. And almost the whole night I spent opening those eggs :) I was collecting the Kinder surprise toys, and I remember how much happy I was when I was getting the last missing piece of the collection :)) And after that, we had Kinder choco everywhere, on each bow😄

The gift I received and that I will never forget was when my ex told me about Hive (the old platform) and although I didn't believe in what it offered me, I tried it and got hooked on it. It has been the job where no one is discriminated against for any reason.

The most memorable gift I have ever received is without a doubt a ticket to the stadium to attend a home match of my favourite team, Napoli. Unforgettable also because I had been dreaming about it for a long time and it was the first time I ever went to the stadium :)

It was laptop then when I got admitted to higher institution my sister bought a laptop for me it was a surprise gift I was really happy then. 

The memorable gift I would never forget was a gift from someone I never knew but because of my little kind gesture I received what I got. I was in a public transport one certain day when I noticed a purse and main looking at the purse it was obvious there was money there.

I was the only one sitting at the back sit of the bus which was why I noticed the purse on time. At first I wanted to tell the other passengers what I saw not until something told me to check if I would see any evidence to locate the owner. And yeah I saw a card with numbers on it and to be sincere it was the exact owner that owns it. The amount in the purse was 300 thousand naira which is around $400

I called the numbers to confirm if it was the owner and also how much was in the purse and how the denomination were to confirm and the owner told me everything correctly. Though I wasn't chanced to return the money that day but promised to return it the following day. I did that and the owner was happy and surprised I returned the money. The gift I received from the owner was a flat screen TV and a 100 thousand naira which am very happy to receive from the owner of the missing money. 

The owner sells electronic device which was why he gave me the flat screen TV. At first I said no but he pleaded and saved my number and since he has always been grateful.

When I was little I wanted a doll, but the gift I received was the best treasure in the world, two storybooks that I still keep in my library, a bit battered from reading so much, but wonderful.

The most memorable gift I received was a giraffe stuffed animal, I remember that as I was very small I saw it as huge, now my little brother has it, that giraffe was a gift from my great-grandmother who has already passed away due to old age, I was always spoken well of her, someone strong, who united the family, intelligent and loved me very much, she was always there for my needs as a baby.❤️
