## I Love ECENCY!!

1. When writing a post on Ecency you can set the payout to include beneficiaries. This is great if you’d like to run a competition, for instance, and you’d like to benefit various other users, such as judges, by giving them part of the post’s earnings. To use the tool, click the cog icon on the top left when writing a post and select “beneficiaries”. 
2. When writing a post of particular interest to the Hive community, on Ecency, there’s an option to promote the post. This is an excellent way to broadcast a post and get it seen. Particularly fabulous for competitions, which need to be seen. Find the tool by clicking the arrow on the Ecency points wallet.
3. Ecency gives you the option to get free points every day. Spin to win points on Ecency by clicking the “get points” button.

Hive grew out of Steem. After Tron founder Justin Sun launched a hostile takeover the leading witnesses @blocktrades, @roelandp, @gtg, @good-karma, @themarkymark, @therealwolf, @pharesim and so on ... started a fork and Hive was born. Nachdem der Tron Gründer Justin Sun eine feindliche Übernahme gestartet hat haben die führenden Zeugen @blocktrades, @roelandp, @gtg, @good-karma, @themarkymark, @therealwolf, @pharesim and so on ... einen Fork gestartet und Hive ist entstanden. 1. There are many ways of earn on hive and Dapps other then blogging, commenting, and curating.
2. Using the right tags in relation to your posts gets your post in front of many eyes in many communities.
3. There are several Dapps like Ecency that you can view the same posts and your account information from hive.
4. Many of the communities & frontends show you your wallet for that community, such as #CTP, #LEO, #PALNET, #NEOXIAN, #ARCHON just to name a few. When you go to these communities just click on wallet and you can see how much you hold of their token.

When Hive was created (hardforked from the Steem blockchain), the existing users received the same amount of Hive and Hive Dollars what they had in their Steem wallet, basicallly doubling the amount they have. This may sound surprising to many new users.

Splinterlands was initially Steem Monsters on the Steem blockchain at the beginning. Most of the cards was worth just/only a few cents at the beginning, and at first, it felt very hard to earn back the initial investment, but the patient players/investors earned hundreds or even thousands of dollars over the years, and they continue to earn. With a good enough deck, I see the possibility of making a living with Splinterlands in the future, but I am currently very far from it.

Splinterlands cards are NFTs, so this game is one of the first NFT games, and it started much before NFTs became popular.
