In respect to topic for today, 

In my town/country, we don't have snow over here. We have 2 seasons which is the raining and dry season. In most occasions, the raining season do start from April to October and the dry season sometimes starts from November to February or there about. Presently, we are in dry season also known as "harmattan" the weather is always cold mostly in the early hours of the day...

* **Things that happens in this season**

So many things happen in this season and some of them are funny things that happened while I was younger.

During the dry season, bush burning are rampard/common. Most careless people some throw there cigarette 🚬 into the bush without taking of the fire in it completely, and by so doing, the fire may catch up with some dry grasses and before you know it, there will be a fire outbreak with destroy plants and kill most animals mostly the young animals that couldn't run faster.

**Funny thing that do happen and has happened to me in my young age.**

Because of the cold in the morning, the best batting style is to wash our hands, feet and head. Quickly run into the room and rube groundnut oil on our body so that it will be shining 🌟 😂😂😂..

Some person don't even bath for days and you may not easily notice it .. lol

In this dry season, you will be seeing some persons with white and dried lips, the feet of some persons will be having cracks and different map will be seen on their feets. Lol 😂😂😂😂

I think I will stop here for now because I have succeeded writing a blog post under this comment section... Lol

Snow is definitely a common thing is Estonia which does not mean I hate it, actually it is quite opposite as living in Estonia you never know what weather condition you wake up to (keeps life interesting). But I did recently saw some grown people experience snow for the first time in there life and it made me little sad as an person living in Estonia. As I have seen snow my entire life, it is impossible for me to remember the memory of seeing snow for the first time.

Good day Ecencials how was your day? I am a Nigerian and am from the eastern part where we normally have rain fall more than the northern part that is more of hotness of the weather we also have the western part which is more like the eastern part. Since I started growing up I keep hearing about snow from my grandma but I never witnessed it for a day in my side. I finished my primary school and was taken to the north by my late uncle may his soul keep resting, even right in the north I never saw it until the time I went to west Oshun State precisely that was the place I witnessed snow it was a wonderful experience, small white substance like ice blocks, it melts quickly and the water is was very cold after melting I can remember licking it as a teenager then I enjoyed it but since I came back to east I have not seen such

Yes, in Tallinn we get a lot of snow usually. This winter it's taking a bit longer for it to come down, but that typically means it's going to storm down like crazy later.

Many moons ago I was born in Caracas, the capital of my beautiful country Venezuela. Caracas is a city with a divine climate because it is in the middle of a valley. The mountains around it give it that freshness that makes it a super livable city. Being a city in a tropical country we do not see snow at any time of the year, but at times like the present, the cold comes down from the main mountain called Avila, and that cold creeps into the bones. The Caracas citizen is friendly, extroverted, cheerful, and a storyteller. That's how all Venezuelans are. We are extremely helpful and not at all selfish. Nowadays, like many cities in the world, Caracas experiences traffic congestion that is sometimes unbearable. What makes us put up with this nuisance is the weather itself. Caracas is a wonderful city to visit because it has many tourist sites, inns, hotels, theaters, and parks. It has a great mountain that you can go hiking or just take the cable car up and enjoy some good strawberries, meat, coffee, and hot chocolate, take walks along its streams, and even take a bath in them. Caracas is 30 minutes away from the central beaches of Venezuela and that is wonderful. Just take the car and in an instant, you are bathing on a beautiful beach. Also, 30 minutes away you have the Simon Bolivar International Airport and from there you can connect with any part of the world. Caracas is a city to get to know and enjoy, talk to its people, dance salsa and eat divine food. I invite you to get to know it.

Caracas está a 30 minutos de las playas centrales de Venezuela y eso es maravilloso. Solo basta tomar el vehículo y en un instante ya te estás bañando en una playa hermosa. Igualmente, a 30 minutos tienes el aeropuerto internacional Simón Bolívar y de allí podrás conectar con cualquier parte del mundo. Caracas es una ciudad para conocer y disfrutarla, hablar con su gente, bailar salsa y comer divino. Te invito a conocerla.

Well, my town is one of the most picturesque towns in Pinar del Río, Cuba. It has beautiful houses, lovely people, and many trees around the streets. It is a small one. Everybody know each other and everybody share everything. As I live in a tropical country (an island) we haven't snow in winter. Temperature gets low and we have to use coats and even scarfs, but we've never seen snow. Maybe some day because of the climate change and its effects it may happen, but right now that is not happening here. Maybe I'll have a post about my town and you'll see photos taken by me. It is a vibrant city known for its stunning skyline, bustling markets, and rich cultural heritage. It's a unique blend of Eastern and Western influences, with delicious food, shopping, and beautiful landscapes, like Victoria Peak and the surrounding islands.

As for snow, it’s extremely rare here. 

I was born an Raised in Southern part of Cross river state Nigeria, its actually an interior  rural setting, 

At this time of the year its gets very cold, dry and misty mostly early in the morning, the fork or mist is really strong you can't see far, and its very cold down here.

It doesn't snow in this part of the world due to our climate condition, instead we experience hamattan, the hamattan here is extreme some times, it hurts the skin causing tear, this is accompanied with very dry humidity, cold weather,  and mostly windy, for snow we dont experience that here at all.

Good afternoon ecencials, I'm excited to be here today to make my contributions to the topic at hand;

 The question is about my town and if we ever have snow in here ?


For instance take a look at the weather condition this afternoon, heavily dried sunshine weather, that's the looks of my town in this season of dryness, harsh wind, heat that creates uncomfortability, prickly heat rashes on some people mostly children. At this time, people are
dehydrated if care is not taken.

Most people's skins are peeling because of the dry weather condition, some lips are peeling or breaking if they do not regularly apply lip balm, lip gloss, or even mentholated oil and Vaseline oil.

We actually have four seasons in my country my town inclusive. 

*Rainy season.
This is a season that starts from March to October yearly. The down pour is usually very heavy, like raining daily between June and July yearly but calms down or actually dries up in the month of August. Making a name, August break.

*August break: As the name implies, during the month of August, the rains withdraws a bit either through out the month or three weeks within the month, there will be absolutely no rain fall. This rain break actually gave it the name, August break, it's a season in my country also in my town.

*Dry season: This is part of the seasons we are into right now. As you can see in my picture down here, during this season, there are no atom of rain any day any where. Plants are now dried begging for the appearance of rain but none is visible. 

Animals too treeck longer miles in their aboard looking for water to drink, sometimes, lakes get dried up, some animals do die for dehydration, like myself, I rear some goats at home, I do drop some fresh water into their drinking bowels every other day and they do rush with speed to drink to their fill. 

The humans drink more water at this time of the year too. There are too much dust and hazel wind all around keeping even a new born very uncomfortable.

*Harmattan season; harmattan season  normally occur  yearly from the months of November to the ending of March the coming year and it happens yearly.

I'm from the Eastern part of Nigeria, it's even mild over here than the Northern part of my country where rain fall is  scantily present. 

Northerners suffer a huge of dryness because their topography is almost like the desert and they actually share boundaries with Sahara desert in the farther Northern hemisphere. Mostly, the town of Sokoto to be precised. 

There, the people are suffering from lots of dryness and dehydration by this dry season. Some people and animals do die for lack of water majorly at this time of the year. Plants do die, there are deserts everywhere. Extreme dry weather do break the ground in pieces over there.

There are actually no snow in my town or country, we have all these weather conditions but we do not have snow season at all. 

I only witnessed snow and lived in a snowy environment when my family and I lived in Hong Kong may years ago. The weather usually comes down to the level of zero in measurements some days.

 Most times I will be virtually crying about cold despite that I have covered myself thickly very well, yet I will be feeling very cold 🥶.

Calabar, My Hometown Paradise

As I sit here in Calabar, basking in the warm tropical sun, I'm reminded of just how beautiful my hometown is, especially during Christmas. The festive atmosphere is palpable, with decorations and lights adorning every corner of the city.

But, I must admit, snow is something we don't get to experience here in Calabar. Located in the southeastern part of Nigeria, our climate is typically tropical, with high temperatures and humidity levels throughout the year. The closest we get to snow is watching Christmas movies or seeing pictures of winter wonderlands online!

Despite the lack of snow, Calabar has its own unique charm during Christmas. The city comes alive with music, dance, and delicious food. You can smell the aroma of freshly cooked rice, chicken, and plantains wafting through the air, making your stomach growl with anticipation!

One of the highlights of Christmas in Calabar is the annual Carnival Calabar, also known as "Africa's Biggest Street Party." It's a spectacular display of color, music, and culture, featuring elaborate costumes, energetic performances, and mouth-watering food.

So, while we may not get snow in Calabar, we make up for it with our warm hospitality, vibrant culture, and joyous celebrations. If you ever find yourself in Calabar during Christmas, you'll experience a truly unforgettable tropical Christmas wonderland!

I live in Barquisimeto, a city located in the country (Venezuela) that gave its name to the Caribbean Sea and also has the largest amount of coastline on this sea, so the vision of a White Christmas, so common in North America or Europe, is something we can only see in photos, videos, movies or TV series. 

The truth is that during this time of the year, the temperature drops a little, making it more pleasant compared to the rest of the year.

My town is a warm place where people is very kind. We don't have snow as we don't have winter, but sometimes it gets very cold.

No we don't get snow in my town. 

I live in a small city, that's a bit peaceful and everyone minds there business. 

The only reason why I town is know it's because of the state university that's in here and also a federal government hospital that's also here. 

We also have beautiful super markets, restaurants, eateries etc

My town is still developing, though it has grown much as compared to the last ten years

Pinar del Río is a wonderful city with marvelous places, it's a small city but, without a doubt, its citizens are one of the most warm-hearted people. Therefore, it's the perfect place to meet new people and have adventures while you enjoy its natural gifts. As you know, Cuba is a tropical island and that's why it doesn't snow here however, the cooler season begins on November. The gorgeousness of the city is focused on its dynamic life and the multi-colored facilities. Also, Pinar del Río City is well known for its tobacco crops and beautiful women.

Hey everyone! I live in West Africa, and snow is super rare here. It’s almost impossible in most places. Let me explain why.

**Climate Factors**  
1. We’re close to the equator, so we get a lot of sunshine and warmth.  
2. The air is really humid, which keeps cold air from coming in.  
3. The land is mostly flat, so cold air just doesn’t settle here.

**Weather Patterns**  
1. We have a dry season called Harmattan from December to February. It’s mild, but it’s still warm.  
2. Then comes the rainy season from march to October.

Let me tell you about my beautiful hometown Vodice - it's seriously one of Croatia's hidden gems! You're probably wondering about snow, right? Well, here's the funny thing - while everyone's building snowmen elsewhere, we're chilling at our seaside cafes enjoying our coffee with a view! 

The weather here? Pure Mediterranean bliss! Our winters are super mild (like sweater weather at worst), and snow is about as rare as finding a parking spot during peak tourist season 😅 But honestly? We wouldn't have it any other way!

And between us - winter might just be my favorite time here. While the rest of Europe is freezing, we're still out here living our best life, taking walks by the sea, and enjoying those peaceful off-season moments when the town feels like it's all ours again. 

No snow? No problem! We've got something way better - that gorgeous Adriatic Sea view all year round! 💙

Oh no.... I haven't seen snow yet.  We live in south India where summer and rain are to the extremes but not snowfall. But in some particular places in north where we have the hill stations, regular snowfalls occur. Unfortunately I haven't visited their. But my daughter had been their as part of college tour and had a chance to see snowfall right in front of her eyes.

It's not something that we expect here anytime in winter because it doesn't seem to be cold enough during winter here.. BUT with all the DANA horror in some other parts of Spain, as well as one quite nearby (but not affecting us at all) I wouldn't say it will never snow here in winter. 

Right now, we are walking in a t shirt with a vest on top, a coat is way too hot, especially when picking up the child from school in the afternoon. I love to see snow but I don't like having to get through it to do my things, so I'm ok with no snow in our area, although it makes some lovely pictures :)

Every ear we get snow in my region. In this year we saw first snow at the end of October /beginning of November
But it  melted after a week. And here we are again under the snow. 
So for me it's an ordinary nature phenomenon.

But I hope at the end of March or at the beginning of April snow will finally melt and I can to start my gardening season 🤞🤞🤞

No snow here. In fact, I don't even remember if we ever had negative temperatures. The only times I saw snow was either on TV or when I travelled to France / Switzerland

I live in a *village* compared to the rest of the world, but we do have a lot of snow here in Estonia.
