Ecencials, we introduced a new vision release that included a feature about polls a few days ago. Polls are an excellent tool for interacting with your audience. Engaging your followers through polls can boost engagement and make your posts more entertaining and memorable. Followers can easily participate by selecting their answers and viewing ongoing voting progress.

## How to create a poll?

While creating a post, you may notice a new tool that is easy to understand about polling.

Once you click on the Polls tool, a Create a Poll window will appear that you must complete by filling in the required fields.

* First, you must complete the **"Poll question"** field. When creating a poll, it is crucial to begin with a strong base: well-crafted poll questions. While this may appear straightforward, it is essential for increasing engagement with your poll. Properly worded questions, correctly formatted, and thoughtfully considered from various perspectives can improve response rates.

* Next, you can enter the end date for your poll. If you input an outdated date, a message in red will appear saying *"End date should be present or future."* Timing is important since it directly affects the amount of responses you get. Votes made afterward don't count towards the poll results.

* To add options, click on **"Add choice"** in the pop-up window. Multiple choice activities are the most frequently used type let the audience select one or more options from a list of responses you provide.

* You can include **Account age** for voting, which is the minimum account age, in days, when the account votes.

* The process bar shows the method used by the poll creator to determine the poll results. This can be accomplished by the number of accounts that voted for each option. Another option that will be added soon is the feature to view voting results according to the HP of the votes.

* You have choices such as allowing people to change their votes and hiding voters.

* If you are not satisfied with the current one, use the **Reset form** to remove all data and generate a new poll.

* After completing all the fields, you will notice the **"Attach to post"** option highlighted in blue at the bottom.

The published poll cannot be changed. This prevents situations in which people vote on a poll and then the poll is changed. You can view the voters and their selections by selecting *"Show voters"* and return to voting by clicking *"Back to vote."*
