<h3>I haven't answered a QOTW for a long time! This is a question i would like to answer, with a very simple answer really. You see, there are so many problems in the world and i have to ask myself, where do they all stem from? Is there a common thread that binds most of the issues we face today? I would like to begin by highlighting what i think are the most important issues that we face today and then bring it together with what i think is the easiest action imaginable, that we can all take with literally NO effort whatsoever.</h3>
<p>Now, where shall i start!? I could begin with the most pressing issue of climate change, or air pollution. The latter is responsible for the deaths of around 10 MILLION innocent people each year.. Air pollution is a result of fossil fuel burning, subsidized to the tune of around $1 TRILLION dollars each year by our governments and leaders. It seems a bit odd that they would continue to support these deathly energy source when there is no debate or dispute about these horrifying numbers... but continue they do. Cities like Delhi, Beijing, Belgrade and many others are so polluted that you can barely see the skyline anymore. </p>

<p>But wait, what about poverty and mass inequality? It seems very sad to see that vast majority of the world are living in terrible poverty, suffering untold hardships, forced to become criminals to survive.. all whilst the largest corporations of the world continue to make ever more money at the direct expense of smaller businesses. They don't stand a chance anymore, and all of the laws, incentives, and power is just continuing to accumulate in the hands of these people who have infinite greed and no concern for anything else but profit. </p>
<p>Now, that may all be true, but let us not forget one of the most important things.. that is LIFE itself and our world being able to support life and biodiversity in all its forms. I am speaking of Climate Change, and the total lack of real effort made to change the ever increasing effects of it on our world and all life that inhabits it. We are look at mass extinction of many species, displacement of people and many animals due to changing habitats. We are facing massive sea level rises that will change the very shape and land that we rely on to survive. Scientists today understand now the need for massive change, and yet even most recently all attempts for the leaders of this world to do something and make real changes are totally inadequate. Clearly they don't care about life on this planet as we know it. Climate change may well be the most important issue of our times, and yet as i have mentioned they continue to support and subsidize dirty power in sums so large that we cannot even fathom them.</p>
<p>I think there is another issue that is linked to many if not most of the issues that face our world.. and that is CORRUPTION! There is no country exempt from it, and corruption is responsible for the ongoing problems that we face. How can we ever fix the problems we face in this world when people who are so powerful and rich are able to just pay for them to remain the same. This is WHY we are in the situation we are in with regard to climate change, inequality, and even the COVID19 pandemic! Corruption is why our leaders think its a good idea to continue on the path that we are on, even though it makes no sense. </p>
<p>Legalized Child abduction is a most terrible issue that we face in many if not most countries in the world. This is an issue that is not yet well understood and yet is responsible for the legalized kidnapping of innocent children on mass and removal of them from their families. They are then transferred to wholly inappropriate homes where in many cases they are abused and treated in ways you would not want to hear about. This tragic problem is related to the prevalence of sexual abuse by people very high up in power who continue to partake in these obscene activities, and even allow others to profit from it. Despite the clear evidence around this issue, they continue to legislate in the favor of the abusers. </p>
<p>Did you know that the UK government will spend £179 billion on ONE nuclear submarine, called Trident, over its life time? That is more than they spend on the ENTIRE national health service each year. Compare that to a paltry $366MILLION (only!) spent on subsidizing renewables in the UK. What a joke! What is even more ridiculous is that this submarine will never be used, and more than that, the most significant threats to the UK come via the Internet and subversive activities of invisible high tech war. The chances of a physical land attack on the UK are minuscule compared to what is already happening. The real war is happening in front of our eyes with countries like China who already have more control over the companies and systems that govern us than you would like to know about. </p>

<p>I could go on and on and on!There is no aspect of life really that is not effected in a very serious way by.. non other than  our incompetent leaders! And do you know what, there is reason that they are our leaders! And this is where i get to the action, or lack of, that i think is the most important action that we can take.. well, perhaps there are two actions but the one i want to mention is entirely legal and so i will start with that.</p>
<p>The most important action i think we need to take is the most passive one as well. It involves very simply, NOT VOTING. Yes, its really that easy. If we all stopped voting, we would stop empowering them to continue what is going on. In a way i have to say that I cannot blame our leaders for the state we are in. Even though people live in terrible dire straights, they continue to vote. DOnt ask me why, i don't get it. I have never voted and never will. Yet many people do, thankfully not most, but enough people vote to perpetuate this charade. People are under the impression that we need them in place to keep the world going, yet that is total nonsense. They are totally unnecessary, they don not run the country at all!!! WE DO! All they do is try to maintain the flow of money into the same hands that put them in power in the first place. There is a reason why no person of any merit even WANTS to become a leader of government. It must be the most terrible job in the world.. they have no real power, all they can do is perpetuate the desecration of our world. Most people know their leaders lie, but few know how badly they lie and hide EVERYTHING,. SO there you have it, thats all it takes and then perhaps we can find another way to govern, with some transparency, integrity, and purpose. </p>
<p>There is another thing, but its not very popular, and yet very easy, and also involves doing nothing... only in this case doing nothing is highly illegal and can put you in prison. That thing is simple NOT paying tax! If everyone refused to pay tax, the government would no longer be able to funnel all the money (energy) of this planet into the same corrupt and pretty evil hands. Its no secret, we all know whats happening, and yet we continue to do it out of fear because they give us no choice.. I think most folks actually think that a significant amount of their tax money goes to good causes like the health service or education. I think if people were to discover where the bulk of this money goes they would be horrified!!! Needless to says its mostly relating to war and ultra secret crazy projects. TO name JUST one example, lets look at the failed Nr.1 Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II fighter jet. This machine  Cost $1.5 Trillion dollars to develop. Its just a fancy aeroplane people! That is just one project. The number of TRILLIONS of dollars that has been spent on ludicrous projects is staggering. If you knew them all you would surely never pay tax again!!!</p>
<p>I hope one day we see the advent of whistle blowers being common place, and that they are respected and honored. Today we are a long way for that.. i believe if and when we see people start to share the truth about how this world really works we might see some real change. I do believe their days are numbers, and that one day, perhaps quite soon, we will see a truly DECENTRALISED world manifest so that we can live on this earth in the way that nature intended. </p>
