Welcome to PIZZA, where everyone loves pizza and we do all the things normal people do, except with PIZZA.  Pizza Power Up Day has come and gone, the 14th of every month - and a plethora of players powered up again this month!

As [previously mentioned](https://peakd.com/hive-185582/@hive.pizza/moon-season-1-rewards-payout), we have reserved 50% of the Season 1 deposits to MOON, and recently we put 25% of these to work! 25% of the 50% turned out to be 29,190.36 PIZZA tokens, and those were sent to @moon.records 2 days ago. [Here is the tx](https://he.dtools.dev/tx/262f9953d87081267c639574a5d318b196c89b5f)  The idea is to slowly, calmly and without spooking anyone, create some permanent project-level liquidity in the SWAP.HIVE:PIZZA pool.

Hey!  Doesn't that mean we are selling the PIZZA tokens?  Technically we are *swapping* them, and don't worry, we are only ~~selling~~ swapping half of them.

That's right - not only is @moon.records earning ARCHON and ONEUP tokens - thanks to nectarengine and its recent [liquidity pools update](https://peakd.com/hive-186392/@thecrazygm/new-tool-liquiditybotpy-and-a-nectarengine-update), we have a liquidity bot going to town, swapping tiny amounts of PIZZA to Swap.HIVE, every once in a while, and marrying those into the LP as a pair.

## Its like magic!!

Nevermind that according to my calculations it will take months to get fully "into" the LP, its the consistency that counts and will slowly, over time, provide more PIZZA tokens at every price point - infinite liquidity.

We do have a limit, a price below which the bot will just wait - wait for better days.  Technically, I think it "doesn't matter", but I think it only makes sense to set a price, below which, we will not sell.

## Is liquidity a project asset?

This is one of the theories I have been testing - instead of paying people to provide liquidity for a certain period of time, what if a project just dedicated some of its funds to the LP, and then never touched it?  At any price, at any time, that LP would be there, providing liquidity.

And since LPs earn fees on swaps, in some way this asset will always exist to absorb more PIZZA, overtime.  I think this is more productive than burning the tokens, we are putting the "money" to work!!

## What about the rest?

We are taking it slow and steady, as with our development model - there is no need to rush out poorly thought-out implementations, when the tokens sit there just fine all by themselves.  We like PIZZA, we believe in PIZZA, and we will keep using the PIZZA token in our game.

We have some follow-up ideas for the rest of the PIZZA, including promotion, power-ups and just giving them to ourselves; but we are not in a rush to decide and when we do - step by step - we will let you know, publically.
