I want a user to want to use my tools, even if they know nothing about HIVE.  They have a need in real life to store, recall and show their content in an open way - and I can help them do that.

My user has no idea about Hive, but if it can help them do what they want to do easier, they are not against it.  They are not willing to jump through many hoops to do it, since they already use the technology of "google drive", which although it has certain drawbacks - such as being completely agnostic to their uses - is "easy" and familiar to all of their players.

If its easy, they will use it, since we are not agnostic - we are gamers.  We can make tools to make their lives easier, for things like saving and sharing content, formatting that content in easy to see ways, and even cross checking against open source rule bases.  We can even build tools to address the pain-points of their real time / asynchronous experiences of virtual play.

## What is a "Keys"?

As any gamer knows - you need the key to open the treasure chest.  There are several legacy apps to "create accounts" aka get the keys to the treasure, and recently here in Guatemala we have been testing the new ones.  I love app.holahive.com, we also have a keychain account creator which is good but anyway I am not putting my active keys on mobile to any accounts with actual claims.  These both are very good tools, for giving away free accounts - there is really no reason for me to build another tool like this.

I think I will sell the accounts.


## Is there anyone out there that can help me?

Okay so maybe I won't sell my users the accounts.  I will sell them the hand-holding.  I will keep their keys, and will do so in case they lose them.  At any time, if they want, they can change the keys, and I will no longer know what they are.  This is a service, and that's what I would charge for.

We made [that keychanger tool](https://keys.thecrazygm.com), open source of course, for those of you remembering the roadmap.  "Our users will need these tools", is what I have been saying.

I know that I don't want to have to look up what a basic Kobold stat block is every time I go to summon a surprise encounter from the ether into the "real world" of fantasy table top gaming - and I HATE wasting precious table time searching for my notes (or worse - the internet!) for things I definitely "saved" and had "ready" for a session.

I think we can help with that.  And HIVE can help with that - just as a database, not as a "social media" anything.  Frankly, I think my users would be frightened off before ever making an account in that case - which to me is the beauty.  I am not interested in competing for users that are "already on HIVE" with this application.
