Let’s dive into the first major DLC in this guide series: Los Santos Drug Wars. In this update, you’ll meet Dax, a new drug dealer in town, and team up with him to build one of the best beginner-friendly businesses in GTA Online — the Acid Lab.

🎯 Why Start with This DLC? • ✅ Can be completed entirely solo. • 🧠 Perfect difficulty curve to learn combat mechanics. • 💰 No level, money, weapons, or vehicle requirements. • 🚚 Unlocks the Acid Lab, which can earn up to $300K per sale (without bonuses). • 🛻 Completing the mission chain gives you the Brickade 6x6 and a delivery bike. • 🏎️ You’ll also earn a luxury vehicle (no spoilers yet!) — one of the fastest in the game, even without upgrades

🔫 First Mission: Welcome to the Troupe You’ll meet Dax and immediately face a tough mission: defend against The Lost MC and recover his stolen truck. Combat Tips for New Players: • 🥤 Buy snacks at stores/gas stations and use them to heal (Tab + C). • 🛡️ Buy armor at Ammu-Nation — the more expensive, the better (Tab + V). • 🧱 Use cover constantly from both sides. • 🚫 Avoid open areas — NPCs rarely miss. 💵 Rewards: $20K for completion + $50K bonus for first-time completion. ⚠️ Don’t spend that money yet — you’ll need $750K later to buy the Acid Lab.

After the first mission, visit Ammu-Nation and buy a Special Carbine with flashlight. It’s affordable and reliable. Then return to Dax’s location and continue the mission chain: 🧪 First Dose Missions: 2. Designated Driver 3. Fatal Incursion 4. Uncontrolled Substance 5. Make War Not Love — ends with a Valkyrie helicopter fight. Don’t worry if you die a few times! 6. Off the Rails — unlocks a silencer for your pistol and introduces Little Birds (armed helicopters). Use your Special Carbine to take out the pilots. At this point, you should be around level 13 with $370K — almost halfway to the Acid Lab!

🧪 Unlocking the Acid Lab

After completing “Off the Rails,” you’ll unlock the Brickade 6x6 and the ability to purchase the Acid Lab. If you haven’t spent your mission earnings, you should be close to the required $750K. You’ll also unlock a setup mission for the lab equipment: 1. Locate a chemical warehouse (marked with a gold Acid Lab icon). 2. Clear out the enemies. 3. Use the forklift to load the truck. 4. Deliver the supplies to the Freakshop.

3.  💬 Talk to Mutt at the Freakshop to apply the Equipment Upgrade — boosts production and profits.
    

💡 Fooligan Jobs provide enough money to cover the upgrade cost. Use cooldown time to progress in your next DLC.

🧪 Managing the Acid Lab • 💸 Supplies cost $60K — either buy them or steal them (buying is faster and safer). • 📱 Use the Interaction Menu → Service Vehicles → Acid Lab to manage production. • ⚡ Use the Boost Production option when you plan to play for a few hours. • 🛒 Sell in public sessions for a High Demand Bonus (2% per player), but beware of griefers.
