**What is EDSvote?**
Eds-vote is an account that people can delegate HIVE POWER to. In return for their delegation, they will receive EDS tokens each Monday.

The delegated HP will be used to curate content on HIVE and provide small upvotes for those that hold over 100 EDS tokens. Delegating HIVE POWER to @eds-vote will not result in an upvote. This is not a delegation to upvote service. It is a way to distribute the remaining reallocated EDS into circulation.

**What are EDS tokens?**
EDS tokens are HIVE income tokens that are pegged and backed to 1 HIVE each. They pay out weekly dividends every Monday based on 12% of the total powered-up HIVE balance of the @eddie-earner account. This is currently paying out an APY to token holders of roughly 35%.

#### Report #18

The table below will start to get big soon and we dont want it looking like the one from EDS and 90 weeks long. When we hit 26 weeks, i might switch it up and display the table in months instead of weeks because i dont think anyone really checks through the numbers and go for the visual charts instead. Not sure, let me know. Put it in weeks are switch it to months when we hit 26 weeks (lines)?

Let's have a look at the numbers in chart form as this is the best way to see performance and predict the future.

Still growing each week, it shows us as having 106k delegated in but these numbers are 3 days old and today we have closer to 113k HP being delegated in which is mind-blowing. It's really inspiring to see these incoming delegation numbers increase week on week and we are already way beyond what I'd predicted for this. Im very grateful for all the support EDS-vote receives and it's all helping EDS get closer to its flippening.

We'll back up there, just shy of 8% with 7.93%. Its still an L but we'll take it and not complain. Remember, curation rewards are 1 week behind the actual HP balance being used so there's always a deficit in these APY percentages. We prob did earn more than 8% based on last week's 101k HP balance but it is what it is and working 1 week behind is the way of the world. You get paid this week for work you did last week. HIVE curation is the same.

A perfect example of getting paid 1 week behind. You can see from the top chart  that shows our HP balance mooned 3 weeks back but it took 2 weeks before we see the rewards being paid out. It's 3 weeks because the HP was delegated in  1 day before I do the weekly eds-vote report. Either way, you can see how we are working 1 week behind between those 2 charts. 

That is our first over 150 HIVE per week ever, no 160. Amazing. 

I have a feeling we'll be at 200 per week in no time. If we are earning over 150 HIVE per week, that means in 13 weeks, we can start a 150 HIVE per week powerdown to eddie-earner assuming we can keep the delegations we have.

When curation rewards increase, the amount of EDS being minted increases as well. We were able to mint over 80 EDS this week and by the looks of things, its going to keep increasing. Like i said above, we'll be earning 200 per week from curation and that will be 100 EDS per week being minted from EDS-vote. 5200 per year, 52k in a decade. Thats 10% of total EDS supply, not bad. Good job.

Round Up 

We smashed it again this week, Everything is up across the board and nobody has asked me about you know what if you read last week's post which has been the cherry on the cake.  

Looking at the HP balance of EDS-vote itself, we have 1205 and i'd guess we'll collect another 160+ this coming Monday which will put at 1360 which is enough to start a new powerdown for 100 per week. I will wait for the 50 HIVE powerdown to pay out on Monday morning and then a few minutes after start the new 100 HIVE per week one and there will be no delay in power-downs. 

In around 10 week from now, we should beable to start a 150 HIVE per week powerdown. If we keep get more and more support, this could be faster so we will see. 

I very happy with how @eds-vote is working out for EDS and im thankful for all the support shown by people delegating HP to get EDS tokens. If you missed EDS miners who are just really like EDS, eds-vote is the only other way to mint new EDS tokens that will pay you an inflation-proof HIVE income for the rest of your life. We'll smartcontract it someday in 20-30 years and it could run forever.
