Steem has been on a bull run the last couple of days, the price has reached almost 0.40 USD and even after a huge loss on the Bitcoin price (and all the drama concerning Steemit Inc and Ned) Steem still has strengths and it seems that is still recovering its value.

Many have said that Steem is undervalued, I agree, but I also think that it's pretty new and it needs mass adoption. Believe me, it's very hard for new people to become part of the Steem Ecosystem, for me, it has been an adventure and I'm thankful for the opportunity to be part of the community, but it hasn't been easy.

My first few weeks the price of Steem was around 6 USD. I was so new that I thought that what I made in my posts, the STU was going to be what I could cash out in USD. I was surprised when I was able to deposit a lot more than that on my debit card. This was one year ago and a lot has changed since.

##### Is the price of STEEM was between 5 USD and 10 USD Gris and I would be able to do these five things:

---

1. Buy a high-end PC and accessories so we could edit images and videos faster and better. One of the goals is to be able to record and stream gaming content for the blog.

2.  Build an e-commerce site to sell artwork and original illustrations made by Gris. We would invest in a good website, platform, and marketing program including ads on Social Media.

3.  We don't have many debts ourselves but we would like to help our family to pay back all the support they have given us.

4. Build more income streams that could include investing in improving some of the Real State owned by our family so we could rent and manage more Airbnb units.

5. Have a baby. Yes, if the price of Steem was high enough, we kept earning Steem as we are now and also had some of the other income streams we would be ready to take this huge step.

We know that we can't rely on the Steem value to reach our goals, but we have great faith in this project and we will also keep working hard to accumulate Steem while working on our other projects (illustration, marketing, and Airbnb).

- This year we started promoting personalized illustration and Gris has made more than 6 customers.

- In a couple of weeks, we will have a total of two Airbnb units ready to rent.

We have learned that the best way to achieve financial freedom is to build several income streams but it's important to avoid spreading our effort too much. We are focusing on building two or three and then we will continue adding more.
