Rise of the Pixels: Reward Desaster in my first Game Projekt

That didn't work out so well.

The rewards for my first game have been paid out in full and I'm down 34.9%. I lost almost 20 PXL on the game. I started the second part before I knew what a disaster it was going to be.

I'll probably choose a different title and description next time.

In 17 hours my first Research & Devolopment project will be finished. My main developer Falco is also stuck there. He has almost all of my equipment on board. Maybe the game I develop with Falco will be better.

My training center still presents me with a puzzle. I can't do a single training session there yet.
I don't yet know exactly why. Maybe I'm still missing the right employee. Maybe he'll come in the next pack.

I also noticed today that my studio reputation has dropped to 0.
Yesterday it was still at 1.275 if I remember correctly.
I found out on Discord that it drops when the games are rated below the current average.

Hm, I'll have to work on that now. Until now, the rating wasn't really that important to me. I thought it would get better when I had a better team. I'm also still not sure what this reputation actually means and how it affects the game.

Things are constantly changing. As I'm writing this, there's been an update.
Now the PXL token is free to transfer.

But since I don't have many of these things, I'll leave them in the game for sure.

The leaderboard is also new now. I'm in 116th place

PS: When I clicked through the top sellers yesterday, I noticed this game.
Title: “Escape from Steem”
Description: “Escape from Steem”

Costs 265 and rewards after 15 of 22 rounds already 269 PXL. This clearly means that it is not important to write a description other than the name of the game. He already has more income than expenses and there are still 7 rounds to go.

Das hat schon mal nicht so gut funktioniert.

Die Rewards für mein erstes Spiel sind komplett ausgezahlt worden und ich stehe mit einem Minus von 34,9% da. Fast 20 PXL habe ich mit dem Spiel verloren. Den zweiten Teil habe ich schon gestartet, bevor ich wusste was es für ein Desaster wird.

Da werde ich wohl einen anderen Titel und eine andere Beschreibung beim nächsten mal wählen.

In 17 Stunden ist auch meine erste Research & Devolopment Aktion fertig. Dort steckt auch mein Hauptdeveloper Falco fest. Der hat fast mein komplettes Equipment an Bord. Vielleicht wird ja das Spiel besser, das ich dann mit Falco entwickle.

Mein Trainings Center stellt mich noch vor ein Rätsel. Dort kann ich noch kein einziges Training absolvieren.
An was das liegt, weiß ich noch nicht genau. Vielleicht fehlt mir dazu noch der richtige Mitarbeiter. Der kommt vielleicht im nächsten Pack.

Dann ist mir heute noch aufgefallen, dass meine Studio Reputation auf 0 gesunken ist.
Gestern war sie noch bei 1,275 wenn ich mich richtig erinnere.
Bei Discord habe ich dann erfahren, dass diese sinkt, wenn die Spiele unter dem aktuellen Durschnitt bewertet werden.

Hm, da muss ich jetzt dran arbeiten. Bisher war mir die Bewertung eigentlich nicht so wirklich wichtig. Ich dachte, die wird besser, wenn ich ein besseres Team habe. Ich bin mir auch noch nicht sicher, was diese Reputation eigentlich bedeutet und wie sich diese auf das Spiel auswirkt.

Es tut sich gerade ständig etwas. Während ich den Text hier schreibe, gab es ein Update.
Jetzt ist der PXL Token frei zum Transferieren.

PS: Als ich gestern so durch die Top-Sellers durchgeklickt habe, ist mir dieses Game aufgefallen.
Titel: "Escape from Steem"
Beschreibung: "Escape from Steem"

Kosten 265 und Rewards nach 15 von 22 Runden schon 269 PXL. Bedeutet also klar, dass es nicht wichtig ist, eine Beschreibung anders zu schreiben, als den Namen vom Spiel. Er hat jetzt schon mehr Einnahmen als Ausgaben und es sind noch 7 Runden offen.

I read through the documentation after releasing my first game. I didn't check the payouts yet today, but it looks like it will be similar to yours. Rating was only a little higher; definitely not as high as I would have liked.

For players that bought packs during beta and held onto them until game was released, there was a reputation boost. I think that having reputation boosts and higher rarity developers is how games are getting high ratings. The name and description is supposed to be a factor, but it's likely a very small impact compared to developer rarity and reputation prior to game release.

Hm, ich mache es bisher nur am PC. Ich denke aber mit der Keychain-App dürfte es funktionieren.
Verpasst hast du glaube ich nichts. So viel ist ja noch nicht passiert in dem Spiel nach 2 Tagen. Und die bis im Leaderboard vorhanden. Auch wenn es mit zwei Punkten die letzten Plätze sind.
