Now I haven't been out and about for Wednesdaywalk for a while.

But this week I was out and about in a particularly beautiful place.
In Dießen on the Ammersee.

It snowed shortly before, as you can easily see. 
In the city where I live, Augsburg, it snowed too, but not as much. So the surroundings were all the more beautiful.

We started at the car park in the centre. The blue house is the local cinema.

Here you can also find the nice red telephone boxes.

The "Dießener Mühlbach" also flows through here. But it is more of a canal by now.

There are probably not so many restaurants here. Most of them have space on a signpost.

I also used the photo to enter a grafitie contest here on Hive.

So turned around again and packed the whole place into one photo.

749 Miles to Windermere. Hmm. Wherever that is, it's a long way.

Eventually we had lunch at the M2. 
It's actually a nice place. However, we also found out that the owner is only open until March.
Mainly the conditions and the lack of staff are forcing him to give up. 
A pity. That's probably the case for many restaurateurs at the moment.
Business would be good, but they don't have the time to look after their guests.
So if you want to come here again, you should do it soon.

Jetzt war ich schon länger nicht mehr für den Wednesdaywalk unterwegs.

Diese Woche war ich aber an einem besonders schönen Ort unterwegs.
In Dießen am Ammersee.

Es hat kurz vorher geschneit, wie man unschwer erkennen kann. 
In der Stadt, in der wohne, Augsburg, hat es zwar auch geschneit, aber nicht so viel. Um so schöner war dann diese Umgebung.

Los ging es am Parkplatz im Zentrum. Das blaue Haus ist das örtliche Kino.

Hier gibt es auch noch die schönen roten Telefonzellen.

Der "Dießener Mühlbach" fließt hier auch durch. Ist aber eher ein Kanal mittlerweile.

Es gibt hier wohl nicht so viele Gaststätten. Die meisten haben Platz auf einem Wegweiser.

Letztendlich gab es dann ein Mittagessen im M2. 
Das ist eigentlich ein schönes Lokal. Allerdings mussten wir auch feststellen, dass der Besitzer nur noch bis März geöffnet hat.
Hauptsächlich die Auflagen und das fehlende Personal, zwingen ihn zum Aufgeben. 
Schade. Das trifft aktuell wohl viele Gastronomen.
Das Geschäft würde laufen, aber die Zeit um sich um die Gäste zu kümmern, hat man nicht mehr.
Wer hier also nochmal her kommen will, sollte das bald machen.
