For example, a user can purchase 50SP for 30days using one Steem.

So, to purchase delegated SteemPower from blocktrades, follow the steps below.

**Step 1.** Open https://blocktrades.us and signup on it.
**Step 2.** Click on 'send' and choose Steem.
**Step 3.** Click on 'receive' and choose 'SteemPower delegation'
**Step 4.**Input your steemit username and click 'Get deposit address'

**Step 5.** You will see the page below. You should then input your steemit username and click 'transfer using SteemConnect'

**Step 6.** You will then be redirected to the steemconnect page where you will input your username and password and VOILA!!! your transaction is successfully broadcasted and you should see your delegated SteemPower shortly after.

**How to lease SteemPower from MinnowBooster**

This is yet another way in which newbies can get some SteemPower lease for a steem fee depending on the amount of SP and the time. To lease SteemPower from MinnowBooster, follow the steps below.

**Step 1.** Go to https://minnowbooster.net and sign up.
**Step 2.** Login and click on the draw down menu bar.
**Step 3.** Select 'lease Steempower' from the draw down options.
